$75 Glarry GP Bass 3 years later… This might not be so bad…
3 years after this bass made its debut on the channel i was asked the question was this a sound purchase. Should i invest in a cheapo bass to learn on or save up for something “better” in the future. My answer… No better time than the present…
Like, Subscribe and comment but most importantly SHARE AND HIT THE BELL so you can know when the next video will be uploaded. YES, I know its dumb but that’s how it is. So till next time … ….Be easy. If you care to get to know the guy behind the bass check out my second channel. I put all the other stuff i like to do on that one.

I own 2 and love the Glarry.
Nice Bro , I got to replay this video I got to watch you jam out again love the beat. I play bass as well. I have the midnight blue geo Ibanez and a black fender with a white plate similar to what your playing
Its a cheap piece of crap, don't buy it…
If you could find one for cheap….???????? holy shit, how much cheaper is 75 smackers for an ok bass to mod!!
Less than 2 months ago, I bought the short scale Glarry bass. The GB. (Bronco copycat.) Gave like 67 for it on ebay.
I took out its stock pickup, and replaced with a 50s p bass styled pickup and changed the cap from .047 to 0.1
Currently enjoying it.
Don"No Soul" Simmons, again!… Hi!. What did U change from black to white?… Never mind.
Where did you get that gorgeous guard that you got on the way? You're glar ray that you've Gothe white one.
That blue guard looks amazing.Look i'm on there
One cool cat!
I saw your videos on that bass it sounded pretty good
You are a good man! I really like you & your video. You are a tell it like it is guy. Not like the purest guitar snobs.
Just got my fourth glarry bass… I love them
Well … I have played metal guitar for 30 years, I played bass for my uncle's band for 2 years as a teen while still playing guitar for my band.
I've wanted to pickup bass again due to both my boys and one of my daughters are interested in guitar or drums and I have them available for them plus they have guitars of their own.
Is a sub $100 Glarry going to be enough for me? I don't have any obsession with brands and my son has a Glarry burning fire guitar that sounds amazing!
It's a great practice bass ( if you play out ) . That way you're not putting anymore wear on your main / 2nd bass strings …
Bully The GOAT
One thing I really like about the is that they are great for your first modding project. You can slowly replace things, and if you mess it up it's a good learning experience without destroying and expensive bass.
It sounds perfectly playable.
To be fair, in your hands a plank of 2×4 with four lengths of paracord stretched along it would sound good ????
Thank you so much
I actually couldn't find any reviews on these basses from actual customers which bothered me. All the reviewers have been sent the bass by Glarry & I suspect those basses sent to reviewers have had a strict quality control inspection before they were sent. I bought the Jazz version & after a set up & filing ALL the fret ends smooth it's an OK bass. Moral of the story is if you can set up & do a little work yourself then these are a good buy but if you have to get a luthier to sort it out it will be false economy. On the plus side I like mine & to me it sounds great after the set up & filing work????????
Sounds great ????????
Thanks for the review. I play the sax but want to try the bass. I will buy it based on your review.
A big thank you for making these videos on these Glarry bass guitars. I had not touched a bass guitar in over 25 years but thanks to you I just bought a left-handed Glarry bass and I am very happy with it. Thanks again
