Barry Galbraith – Daily Exercise #2: A Harmonic Minor (with TAB)

From the book:
Barry Galbraith’s Jazz Guitar Study Series: Daily Exercises in the Melodic Minor and Harmonic Minor Modes

NOTES:
-Fingerings are how I play them, but not always how they are written in the book. Alternate fingerings are encouraged if they make sense to you. The book has lots of notes on the harmonic content that is worth checking out.
-I’m using alternate picking throughout.
-The G# in measure 37 is a G in the book.

  • What an absolutely insane level talent ????. I am hacking my way through this now. My book from Aebersold says to start on string 2 “A” note with finger 3.

I see you started back on string 1.

Any benefit to changing his fingering?

    Beautiful job.
