  • A standalone plugin player would have been an instant buy for me. That's all we've wanted from the beginning.

  • Very interesting small footprint modeler that may work or integrate well on a pedal board. Seems somewhat limited than other modelers but that maybe a good thing. However the fact that it does not even have a small screen kind of leaves me wondering. However since it interfaces to a tablet that maybe good enough. For live gigs you really have no time to do a lot of tweaking anyway. Will just have to wait to see how this plays out but at that price point seems it should do well.

  • Looks like a very promising unit. Almost what I needed for small gigs etc. For me, THE missing feature is another capture slot for overdrive/sat pedals! Or maybe the ability to switch between Cab slot and Capture slot if you use a DI capture. Also sometimes the cab is baked in the capture….so the cab slot will be unecessary. With this feature and a solid state poweramp you can do almost everything at a very affordable price. Too bad for me I'll wait and see.

  • I have a very simple question, but since I have no knowledge about recording and interfaces, I hope someone can help me: I have audio monitors (Edifier) that have RCA connections. How could I monitor the sound using the Nano Cortex as an interface? What outputs would I use and how can I send this signal directly to the monitors? I don't have an output from my computer to the monitors, currently I connect them directly to the output of my current pedalboard.

  • Glad he mentioned the fixed path at the beginning so I didn't waste any more time….. No modulation before drive is a deal breaker for me. Can't stand chorus, phase and flange after drive.

  • Nice, it’s an HX Stomp with better marketing and way less features.

  • Look I'm a singer and I apriciate the xlr in but come on like we play guitar live to would it kill to put a mono xlr out on there because at the price that would be amazing but due to this it forces me and probably allot of others towards separate products with lesser featurs but more featured hardware

  • I was really really hoping this was going to be a platform for “x” plugins. Instead we got a tonex with a couple extra bells and whistles.

  • I'm confused why there are so many negative comments. Like, sure, the bar is high but this seems great and I currently use a GT1000Core which is a very similar system

  • Why don’t they make these 32 bit floating point so you can’t clip the input?

  • As a multi-instrumentalist Quad Cortex owner, I still see a place for this as a much more portable B rig. Another game changer from Nueral!!!

  • I've been gigging for decades and I never really need more than one amp but almost always need additional effects. Having tons of amps but very few effects, and no ability to capture tone based effects, makes me wonder who this is really for. I mean, studio guys don't really need modeling hardware anymore, and gigging guys need more effects and functionality. Just my take obviously.

  • So I'm confused. Help me out everyone. I record directly from interface into PreSonus and if I want to change amps, I just load a different plugin to what I've already recorded. Having said that, is reamping even necessary at that point?

  • Did i just order one? I guess i did… a bit impulsive maybe.. but what the heck.
So i'm really thinking about using this with my Hx effects or Boss MS-3 and utilizing the midi.
But I wonder if a device like the iConnectivity mioXC MIDI-interface USB-C can convert midi signal from 1 of these devices to usb. (so i can use the trs input for an exp.pedal. Any know if this would work?
