Gary didn't have much gain in his blues era. He did in his Corridors of power days, but not later.
Separating the men from the kids. This is pro sound crafting. Thank you.
Greeny wasn’t used on Still got the blues. It was his other ‘59 Les Paul. Jtm45 and a Marshall Guv’nor. Kfir is an awesome player !! Definitely would love to see him live one day
I can totally see how the Ultra channel works for the song because the original came out in 1990, which is feasible to say Gary was using the SLO at the time. The Ultra channel is a Dual Rec style sound, and we know where it’s sound came from…Soldano
ich denke mal das Treble und der Tonregler sind komlett auf 1 runtergedreht ?
Grande chitarrista e splendida gibson les Paul del 59
Gary used his 59' known as stripe by some on that track
I think it was closer when it was at 40w
The guitare on still got the blues was not the greeny it was the stripe
You got a tone similar to Gary Moore`s but don`t play like him at all. Good try though.
Nice playing but not Gary Moore, tone sounded artificial and timing all over the place, better demo's out there.
neither one of you einsteins saw fit to mention the pups that were used in the Les Paul!
He didn’t use a tube screamer.
He used a Marshall Govner overdrive.
And no iPad.
Gary didn't use all that vibrato
Awesome amp tweaking
Thank you so much!!!
Wow, Kfir certainly nailed it! He has very good ears!
Why would Turkish parents call their kid Kafir. Kek.
I'd really like to know the Pickup Specs of GM's 'Stripe' guitar used in SGTB.. That will take your tone to the next level. You just can't use 'Any ol PAF set' …I have found out how critical this is after emulating Jimmy Pages Post 1972 tone which is achieved by an UNBALANCED pickup set and Impossible to achieve with conventional pickup arrangements (ie hotter bridge weaker neck will not work)
Was this recorded through the ae redbox from the amp? Or was it recorded through the cabinet?
Also, where do I get the preset?
I can get that with Amplitube man!
How do I get this preset?
Idol
Mal ganz ehrlich, Tube Screamer??…Gary Moore ?? Boss Distortion! Und nichts anderes!!! Can't hear the young dudes without a plan anymore, I'm sorry
Man pls do more this videos how to get the tone
Can you use two modulation effects i.e. flanger and chorus at the same time?
I don’t agree that Garry didn’t use delay on this song because you can hear it.
????Excellent
He used a Marshall Guv'nr
Santana has a particular sound too
Brilliant job,I need one of these amps
Even though the Grandmeister 36 doesn't have the updated preamp circuit, has anyone managed to get this sound on the 36?
I would like to see what his settings are, have you linked or spotted them somewhere? Thank you.
kfir is a legend. ????????
Gary Moore has a distinctive guitar tone that separated him from the rest of guitarists. It is so rich of feelings.
He looks like such a new guy I love him
JTM45, 4 x 12 with EV12L's, stripe and a guv'nor……..oh and huge amount of talent and feel!!
Kfir me encanta…eres de mis guitarristas preferidos..siempre consigues el tono perfecto..
