How To Get a Black Sabbath Guitar Sound
Getting a Tony Iommi guitar tone and playing some Black sabbath riffs with my Vintage single p90 guitar and Marshall MG series solid state amplifier.

N.B i’d say the thin strings for the tuning mean the bends are really easy, but the strings are difficult to grab under your finger tips as they’re so loose! Iommi used banjo strings because due to the infamous accident, playing normal strings was too painful for him. This also led to the downtuning to ease the tension on the strings.

Not a bad attempt but Iommi's sound is much thicker. I'm not sure a solid-state amplifier could fully copy the Laney tube amp sound Iommi had.
What strings do you use?
Can you get this tone with humbuckers?

Im using a marshall mg eith all the same settings and a tele in the middle position (close as i could get to a p90) and it doesnt sound right??
