Tips and Tricks for Dialing In Electric Violin Tone on Tube Amps


Electric Violinists commonly use tube amps for tone and amplification. But many players struggle to get a sound they really like.

In this demo, we’ll use two Zeta violins (a Jazz Fusion and a Strados Modern) and three different amp models in a Line6 Helix: Fender Twin Reverb, Vox AC-15, and Mesa Boogie Mark IV.

We’ll talk about how to audition an amp and then give some ideas about how to dial in an amp once you pick your favorite.
