MARSHALL JVM – Metal 10 Years Later
New series where I’m revisiting amps I made demos for 10 years ago. Today I’m trying out the Marshall JVM again. It’s such a banger of an amplifier!

Alright, now it starts. It's time to revisit the amps that I demoed back in the day when I started my channel. Starting with the Marshall JVM 410!
I had one years ago and it came alive with a mesa boogie 4×12 v30 cab. The stock Marshall cabs just didn’t do it for me

This amp sounds absolutely fucking brutal. Wow!
I bought an Axe Fx III after playing a JCM 900 2500 for years. At some point, I didn't like the amp anymore and started looking for amps. The JVM, Dual Rec, and 5153 where the amps that I was eyeing at the time. I ended up with the Dual Rec just cause that amp is awesome. Anyway, I have an Axe Fx III and just use the JVM model because I'm used to Marshalls.
BRASIL SHIRT!!!!!! BRAZILIAN GREETINGS OLA!!!!
Amazing
Engl Blackmore!!!!!!!!
That’s the first amp vid I ever saw from you!
I have this amb for me it's perfect
Dude I love this tone. I want one
I absolutely love the jvm.
sounds awesome.
Love my JVM 205h into my Zilla FAtboy.
Any feedbacks about JVM215?
Ola: Plays riff from 10 years ago perfectly.
Me: Forgets what the fuck I came up with literally 10 seconds ago.
Love to see you Jam on a Peavey 6505 1992 reissued and Mesa Standard Oversized Cab
Freaking Awesome Amp and The True In the room sound..Mesa Cab…just Awesome
It’s refreshing to see a real person with a real amp, even though you are in my phone.
"Years change throughout the years"
????
I just got one today. What were they thinking at Marshall ? Did they have a meeting that went like : "So OD1 orange has more gain than even a 12year old blackmetaler would ever want. Great, now let's add even more gain in OD2 Orange. Then even more gain in OD1 red and then way more gain in OD2 red. Then of course you can boost it for more gain"
"OK, a little bit more crunch"
maximum gain
5:36 This mode is GOD. That’s my favorite Marshall tone of all time. That’s Mustaine territory right there!
????????????????????
What song is that in the beginning of the video
I love how this amp is 1300 in the U.K meanwhile Americans paying 3-4 k for a mesa.
Just making this comment to one day comeback when I own this awesome amp ????????
I absolutely love my JVM 410, best amp ever, it can do absolutely everything
This Amp is so versatile and user friendly. In terms of tone shaping and gain structure this is a one stop shop. There was a time that eq pedals, overdrive, and distortions were needed for heavy sounds or gain versatility. Now we have amps like this where you could make an entire album and perform an entire tour with just a guitar and an Amp and have all the versatility you need.
Ola, I have this same amp and I can’t get it to sound like you did. I’m using the SD-1 and Bonsai OD. I have both on my board to try different sounds. I haven’t found the right one yet. Instead, I’m getting a lot of gain feedback. I even have a noise suppressor in-line as well. Also, im using a reactive load. Im just wondering if I need to just all over from scratch and re hook things.
Always sounds so fizzy. I can tell that it probably sounds great in the room, and probably feels nice. But I haven’t heard one recording where it didn’t sound like a compressed fizzy mess
Braaaasil ????????
It doesn't suck
The JVM clean also rivals any amp…its a beast, it can do everything…best amp I've ever bought.
Wind makes everything harder
I love my JVM. My style is more hard rock and I play a lot of leads. It’s perfect for my style. Super versatile and with all the midi switching and channels, I don’t even need an overdrive or distortion pedal.
