Old one breaks up earlier and compresses more, and doesn’t boost the volume quite as much

Easily tweaked to sound identical, but at these settings the vintage pedal sounds like shit.

I have to say – I prefer the 2022 sound.
The right one has literally more on the dist knob, as it can be seen. Not saying they are not different though
Old one sounds better. Neither one sounds good.

I like the 80s version better
The 1980 Japan distortion pedal definitely has much of that crunch. They’re both sound great though.
