I bet this guy probably spent some time back in the old days deciphering songs from the record player, a great ear like that doesn't just happen! Kinda glad I didn't have YouTube when I first started out or I wouldn't have the ear I have now
I learned the acoustic intro to "Crazy on You" by Heart from this guy, he includes every little nuance, took me quite a while but was worth it. I know I'm playing it right without a doubt, and that goes for any other song I've picked up from him since
This guy is always my first choice when I want to learn EXACTLY how a particular song was originally played

I 've just discovered this video 10 years later, there are a few Ramble on videos around, but this one includes all these small nuances that really make a difference to the sound. When I play back The album version, I can hear those nuances that I couldn't, or didn't notice, before . Thanks so much.

How love how you soften the blow to tell people to play it like it’s played. ????. It’s great to find someone that cares to reproduce the songs like they were made. The struggle to get each part correct and to emulate the greats is what makes a great player!

Almost got it.
When I am looking for a quick run through and see this guy has the tune I think oh damn this is going to take a long time but I don't have a choice because he will be the one who is always dead on including the nuances. He teaches at the right speed with some history and theory mixed in.
Another great tutorial instructor said, I won’t teach exactly note for note ,If you want to learn it go to “ shut up and play”. The song is Give me shelter.

A soon you can play ramble on,go back to old songs u use to play and you realize they sound much better,because your fingers are stronger through the pain of learning ramble on. For me thats more amazing than landing on the moon
