  • Goddamn I wanna be a millionaire pedal wizard!! How though? Too much frickin math involved if you want to like, not blow stuff up. I realized that you cant just start soldering things together and have good sounds, there has to be some kind of inside knowledge involved! Lol, great vid and lots of useful info, thanks.

  • Hello, you say ”you don’t want solder on your iron, so heat the component instead”. But then you go on to tin the iron anyway before soldering, without telling why. Would you mind explaing why you tin the iron before soldering, is it for better adhesion?

  • Cool sticker on pedal. Not important, but where do you find unique stickers like that, to finish off the final look of pedal?

  • Very useful video ! I watch from France and I built exactly one pedal before, a silicon fuzz face kit. I didn't do such a good job, so it works but sounds very noisy. Something people should be aware of when building pedal is that your drill is powerful enough to make holes in the enclosure. Mine wasn't and I almost hurt myself because of that !

  • Fun to watch, I made my first pedal a few weeks ago, a Christmas present for my brother, used a toner printer with magazine paper and a laminator for the pcb which came out really well, big muff green russian clone which sounds awesome and tuck me back to my band days, on my next pedal i will paint the pcb fo easier soldering and protection, use a step drill bit for the switch as the size i needed for the hole wouldn't fit my drill, ended up having to file the hole get it to fit, overall it was a great experience even though it didn't work off the bat, tuck a lot of trouble shooting to find the fault which turned out to be a very tiny short between a pad and another track but that sound when a i eventually got it working was amazing

  • Dude, I love this so much. When can I learn how to read schematics and get the skills to get creative in making my own pedals?
