Breakthrough Phrasing Skills in JUST 2 STEPS – guitar solo mastery
Learn these two simple rules to massively improve phrasing in your guitar solos: 1) Use Rhythmic Targets and 2) Use Harmonic Targets Practicing phrasing in this way will help you break out of meandering around the pentatonic shapes. It will lead to much more melodic solos that have greater impact by using space and intelligent note choices.

The part not covered here that I struggle most with is the timing/rhythm of the licks. Which beat do I start and end a lick on, and what is the time of the notes. Are they triplets or not etc?
Also, I’m not understanding the muting and staccato parts.
