  • Thanks for this lesson. I'm a 65 year old home player. I like the inclusion of melody with the chords. It doesn't feel awkward to play it. I made my own note sheets to help me remember the bits. I'm working on my hand memory for the 2nd half of the bridge with those C/D, D/E, and A/B chords that are new to me. I don't want to dumb it down with simple bars or partial formations. Perfecting this will make me a better player so I take that as a plus!

  • Came looking for the correct chords to the bridge to this song (which everyone, including myself, plays wrong most of the time). THANKS! And DANG…how many times a day do you hear people say you resemble a young John Denver? 🙂

  • I was 8 in 72, this song is one of many songs written in the 70s that the first time I heard it I loved it. My mom listened to all the Los Angeles radio stations when I was growing up. Riding in the car with her was a musical treat.
Thank goodness for YouTube. I've learned countless songs getting free lessons from who I choose. Thanks for the lesson, the lead is one of best ever for acoustic guitar.

  • You are so much like our welding teacher. Very good at this, and know how to throw it out, but not instructively skillful. It is good that we are skillful at pausing and starting the video oftenly.

  • Really enjoying your content, I come from a band background and have been playing for 25 years. I retired from “bar” bands years ago but decided to try my hand at some solo coffee house gigs and your arrangements are fantastic for that purpose. I could take the time and toil about figuring out a solo composition but honestly you have already done all the work and it’s great. So thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge. I have to say I don’t really need the pdfs but will happily click on the support link on your web site because good work should be rewarded. Thanks again
