  • make your own preset then. lots of great gear has crap presets. the graphic user interface is great.

  • Easy: test it; like it or not. Buy it or not! I love it . I bought it. Fits my needs ( and age – hate carrying heavy gear).

  • It had some issues when it first came out and the Fender team were very active engaging with customers on The Gear Page and then eventually on their own Discord channel. They really listened, took their time, and after 6 months released a massive update that took it to a new level. And they're not showing sign of letting up. In these discussions the two main Fender Developers of this unit are adamant that Fender sees this as a big market going forward and are committed to it now with a product release plan already in place for the next several years in the future at least (although they are very tight lipped about any of that future stuff.)

  • Truth is, you can dial in the sound on these modelers and get really good tones but I takes some practice

  • What a load of croc!
Just cause you don’t know how to use it, doesn’t mean it is garbage!
    Garbage in – garbage out!

  • Have you tried it with the new updates? I’ve heard that they added an impedance curve for the IRs and improved all of the amp models. I’m interested to see what you think.

  • In my experience, factory presets are useless on a live gig. Everything is set too wet to amp up the geewiz factor. I gig every weekend. When I got the TMP, the first thing I did was to dial it in to sound as close as I could to sound like my amp and pedalboard. I got it damn close so I did a gig with it. The TMP sounded good, but it also felt good. So I knew I had something to work with. Since that first gig which was 6 months ago, and with the help of many tutorials (mostly Doug B’s Digital Den, thanks Doug!) I’ve learned to tweak it for even better results. The programming options are insane and not difficult. If you have the TMP, go to Doug B’s Digital Den on YouTube. You won’t regret it.

  • If you know only heavy metal it’s natural that tone master pro is not your modeler! Your way to play it’s garbage! The Boring way you play guitar makes me sick please leave this poor PRS alone and keep the hoe!

  • Judging an amp or modeler with all that super ultra mega iper high gain and saying it sucks doesn’t make any sense

  • You just came off like not even wanting to like the unit. Be less bias because that’s what’s coming through the screen
