Source Audio LA Lady. The best pedal for a recording setup I’ve ever used. Amazing tones.
My first look at a Source Audio Pedal.
The LA Lady Overdrive. A digital overdrive pedal (The best I’ve played) that can also handle distortion and fuzz with ease.
The LA Lady is a digital overdrive emulation that as it comes from the box can emulate 3 different overdrive sounds via the switch on the face. It also has controls for Drive, Volume, Bass and Treble. When you use the Neuro App editor you can access a vide variety of overdrive, distortion and fuzz sounds as well as tweak them pretty comprehensively and save up to six presets which can be accessed directly from the face of the pedal. However these presets CANNOT be recalled with MIDI without an external piece of Source Audio equipment which to me is a disappointing.
However with that one negative aside this pedal has the best range of sounds Ive ever heard from a compact digital distortion pedal of this nature. The sounds are detailed, three dimensional, dynamic and overall really really satisfying.
Is this sound quality combined with the capacity to quickly load a vast array of sounds before you start recording a guitar part that really sets this pedal apart as a space saving creative aid to help shape guitar parts when recording. It’s really impressive in this context.

Thank you SO much for going in depth into this pedal. Been really chewing on whether or not I want to make this purchase for studio use and this is really helping me come to a decision!
There is an adaptor cable that replaces the need for the Hub. Also, you can use just 1 input and output to control two separate effects in series A into B, B into A or parallel. Lastly, you can rely on the MIDI controller’s screen or other pedals with screens to know what drives are currently engaged on the LA Lady. Personally I love the Kingmaker’s enclosure best. Cheers.
Sounds lush.
I can see what you mean about it being too limited for live use, but being a kind of Swiss army knife of drive for studio use. It's interesting for sure, great vid as always gent
