Yamaha may have created the ultimate streamers acoustic guitar and disrupted the acoustic guitar market. The original Yamaha Transacoustic guitar brought a very cool feature of onboard effects that came out of the acoustic guitar body. While limited this demonstration of technology was impressive and fun. Yamaha has upped their game with the new TAG3, a transacoustic guitar that adds more effects, connection to smartphones and onboard looping! This may be the best guitar player for coffee shop gigs and tiktok/instagram streams. We know for sure that it is a blast to play!

I am interested in this guitar plus I really like Yamaha guitars. I understand this series uses two actuators. But with previous self-amplified guitars like this (Yamaha, Enya, Lâg, etc) the sound is not very loud (attenuated). So does having a second actuator increase the sound?

A lot of guitar for the money. I thought these would be around $3000 but they are priced well.

No to get this in the fs9 and classical with a foot switch control pedal.
and a diferent version built in on for revstsrs and Pacifica electric guitars with a pedal.
Yamahas on a roll.
Cost more but worth it.
I’m in Toronto Canada. I saw your demo as I was driving to my local guitar shop to pick up a repaired guitar. By the time I got there, I was already sold on this guitar.
I placed my order immediately, and apparently mine was the first order placed for the TAG3 C on the Yamaha Canada ordering system.
I would have bought it from you, but my understanding is that you don’t currently ship to Canada. If I’m wrong about that, I’ll buy my next one from Alamo.

Hi Guys. Is it louder than the LL-TA? I had an LL-TA and loved it but felt it could have been a bit louder.
I'd really love to see a flamenco version or at least a nylon one. It's very tempting to get it as is.
Wow. This changes e'erthing!! I almost bought the original transacoustic but this one is a must have! And the price isn't what I thought it would be. All that for $1800? It's worth every penny.
I have been waiting for something like this, especially the built in looper! I want one but need a smaller body. I play an OM but with all the effects I'd probably wait for a OO size if that ever happens! Great playing as always too! Whenever I go into a guitar shop I do my best imitation of Chris and Cooper and I save myself the shame of playing Stairway to Heaven in a shop! ????
