Caged Major To Caged Minor – Unlocking Caged Chords On Guitar
It’s easy to change all your CAGED major shapes to minor – at least in theory. Playing them as barre chords is almost impossible BUT, you can break them up into smaller bits and dominate the fretboard!

Can I use the major caged shapes for the relative minor? So if I was visualizing G, I could also use to play E minor. (Typically I would think the main penta pattern and then the two patterns on each side). But I’m wanting to start thinking more triads. End goal think scale, triads, and arrepigios for improv. Right track for playing the changes?
So, no need for these chords to be barred then? Reason I'm asking is that I've been learning these with barres and it's really hard
Dude…. Who do you play for. Clearly youre a pro! And I like the guitar held up high. None of that slash November rain stuff. Don’t know how he frets sod all in that position.
Your amazing
one day,,, I don't even know where to find those "shapes"
