What if my amp is a 10w amp and I just almost broke it twice? How do I fix that, is there anyway without buying a new amp
For me the amp sounds too scratchy when titled towards my face, but when sat down it sounds super bassy and even.
Amps sound better when you aren't directly in front of them, usually, for me, whatever…………?
For maximum annoyment, point the amp speakers out an open window from the second floor .
I think your reasoning is being effected by your warm thick comfortable socks.
Would you agree that the distance of an amp play a crucial roll, in tone and volume. After all that’s the whole idea of amplification To project and be heard in an ensemble form. The tilt is cool for type of monitor I suppose. I myself have my amp on small stand, but facing down or sometimes backwards. Peace
Not if it has tubes. You’ll burn it out
I sit mine on an old toilet
Wish i never got tid of my super60
I bought a half stack bc I listen with my neighbors ears
Do you listen with your ankles? ????Funny but also a great way to make the point.
Bet that amp has a full name for the inspection on the back! WANNA SELL IT! I WILL BUY IT
Yeah man, truly Rocket Science.
I have mine on a nightstand lol
“Do you listen with your ankles?”
Grounding it is my preference , those stands take away bass , if no room I just tilt it while still connected to fooor .
I aim mine at my b@lls.
no i like it on the floor you loose to much bottom end in the air its just not the same in fact try standing 15 or 20 feet away as thats what your audienceis hearing they arent hearing what your hearing then dial in your tone the more you know????
yeah and get tinnitus quicker
And I've been laying on the floor.
My Amp Don't work ! Thanks Spark 40 Pearl Edition. Youre Garbage !
Is that just a guitar stand?
My ears weren't happy. I hope the ringing stops soon!
I put mine on a nightstand, bought an IR loader and play through PC speakers now.
Nope. Lol. You've never owned a jcm800.
Depends on the sound you want.
If you want very crisp highs and dont care for bottom end, sure point the speaker cabinet to your ears. If you want a full, softer sound then just let it sit on the ground.
So many times I’d get annoyed at our lead GP because he played so loud for this reason during rehearsal. I saw they sell these stands on Amazon. Great buy.
Instructions unclear…
My 2x2x12 Marshall stack from 1973 fell over.
Nah but for real. My stack not only plays for my legs but for my whole body. And house. And neighborhood. At least my neighbors have said themselves that they don’t mind it which I think is really cool of them to say????
That makes sense! Common sense is a wonderful thing!
Thats why you get a full stack. So your feet, crotch, and face can enjoy.
The ankles thing is true
That's why I invented and patented the first ever 25 position guitar amplifier stand.
yes Saw the Hellecasters put their amps on folding chairs. An sc 30 weighs a ton. Worth every penny. .John Will and Jerry are all Monsters of tone and skill
Damn, maybe I do be listening with my ankles
B.S.! Dude, you ruin the bass response from that cabinet, sit in a chair or stand down from it until you hear the full spectrum of tone coming from your cabinet, amp monitors blow!! Period!!!
I don’t listen with my ankles but sounds do travel 360 degrees effectively reaching the ears in the same way it might if you bent down to hear it
I just got rid of that super 60 amp had it since came out truly not a fan lol
My Carvin X-60 with a single 12" sits sideways a 2×12 Peavey Mace that sits on a milk crate and my sound is literally in my face when I sit a foot close. As for my main amp sitting sideways, I have it that way for two reasons: 1) the input jacks are closer to the floor and 2) I occasionally plug the 2×12 cable cord in as well.
That amp looks nice! What model is that red knobbed fender amp?
Seriously it's the opposite for Bass amps. You want to both hear and feel low frequency. So you need the amp anchored.
That's why I always put the speaker face down on the ground with a blanket over it
I was told to never buy a red knobbed fender amp. And I was told this by many people who worked in shops.
Listen to your amp and have fun
In the face!
music for your ankles.
you can also use weber beam blockers they help disperse the sound they are round and go between your speaker and the cabinet they've been around forever not much talk about them anymore
