Honestly. The impressive thing here is not singing and playing at the same time. The stuff he plays while singing are chords, pretty similar to throwing out chords on a guitar while singing. Not that hard. Very nice fills, but he doesn't sing while doing them, except at the end and then he sings the same melody.
That said, it is a great performance and he obviously has a great voice and incredible bass skills.

I watched this guy playing slapping ,tapping and was the lead singer. Doing it all at the same time. I was blown away and afterwards they took a break and I asked him how long he had played being he was the best local bassist I had bass while singing. He said he had been playing for 37 years.
