TONEX FX Beta – My First Impressions | Tonex Just Got Way Better
An updated version of Tonex is coming out in just a few weeks and I got a sneak peak at the beta version of the update. This updated includes the addition of new effects blocks allowing you to add modulation and delay to your effects chain. I tested out the beta version and used it live. All new effects can be tweaked on the pedal, there are some videos showing that
than effects can be activated via midi o ext control? for that live situations

Everything sounded pretty decent. I use my ToneX with my Stomp and that has worked out really well. I will have to see when the update comes out how I might use effects with the Tonex1. I use two captures in the HX loop. An AC30 and a Fender Deluxe. I love my Stomp effects, especially the Dynamic Reverbs and Delays.
Sounds great. Love the clean sound with ping pong delay.

How is the compression from the tonex instead of hx stomp? I think the reverbs and delays are not so ambiental

Dude it sounds SO GOOD. With the delay and saving BPM per preset, it’s giving me some food for thought as to why we need tap tempo when we sync to click and tracks anyway.
So each BANK is a song with three presets each?
Can you use an external pedal to turn on/off the effects?
Is there low cut and hi cut on board?

I hope that this update wasnt "just" an awnser for the kemper player updates/cortex nano.
They need to keep bringing some new effects, as you say.. new delay/reverbs(ambiente ones) would be awesome.
Great tones! I love my Tonex and can’t wait to try the update when it comes out. Quick question, when you switch between patches is there a volume drop? I’m assuming we can’t turn on and off individual effects so I will probably set up like mentioned and have one patch with just the amp and reverb, then have another patch with same amp with modulation etc…
