Fuuck! Acid's growing as I type just thinking about that!
ZERO MELODIC LINE
I watched it but I couldnt bring myself to subscribe – the hair scared me off!
Ok, so can you play slide guitar with your kitchen blender when its full?
Kevin and perry go large
I love that guitar ????????????????????
I know what you did right before this recording.
Great guitar player, great guitar company.. but good lord, he really looks in the mirror and is ok with that hair ????????
that haircut tho
Really useful lessons Rob, so cool thanks!!
Your pinky looks possessed ????????
i don't have perfect pitch, but I noticed at 3:24 you have the guitar down half step (liek the recording
YOU LOOKS A BITI RABEA-ISH! ROCKN ROLLY CHAPERS!
Great lesson but would've been easier for people to play along to in regular E tuning!!
0:40 When I have coffee and leftover chili, I feel inspired to sit on the toilet.
Great lesson… had to play the first minute on a loop for ages to get in tune with the mistro! Half step down… minus a bit!
My mouth moves like yours does when I play tough licks. haha. Sorry for noticing. Glad I'm not the only one.
Rob you’re the man. Sharing knowledge and genuinely caring about your craft. I haven’t played guitar in ten years after a stint drumming at a professional level. But getting back into it now as a hobby and passion your content, enthusiasm and care for the art have not only been incredibly inspiring but also very insightful and thoughtful. Appreciate it man.
ty, I'm sorry for any fat jokes I ever made about you. but, now…comes the hair jokes, stop giving me ammo, I can't help myself.. seriously, awesome tools for sharpening up the axe!
Rob….. you are a rock guitar god!
Just who is this Rob Chapman fellow and where does he get all those marvelous toys?
At the stage I'm at with my playing this vid is exactly what I needed, some seriously helpful drills, thanks chappers
Thank you, Rob.
Good input.
Do you have a video on how you would use these sort of lick in a solo and how to know to use them? 😀
OH! Pick, slide, hammer, pull, hammer, hammer, pick, hammer, pick, hammer, hammer, pull, hammer, hammer, slide. Well now that makes it easy! -.-
I can barely type that, much less play it :/
"I think this is standard tuning"
…goes to play along…
>–__–<
…nope.
Hahaaa fuckin love this guy! Good shit my dude, rock on????
I love you you're awesome!
Hey Rob, Thanks a bunch for posting this! More please!
Frick it's tough being a beginner/novice guitar player, takes a ton of time and discipline. These videos are definitely helpful to keep one inspired and moving forward. Plus there's something about Chapper's playing that is indeed organic and unique.
Seems like there's so much garbage and nonsense on youtube but the lively guitar culture is one of it's major positive elements in the way that it helps small fry much like myself come up and allows the pros to channel the infinite aether through the guitar strings to an audience they might not otherwise have.
On that note, I've been debating between the Chapman ML-2 (seen above) and the PRS SE 245. Thoughts?
Great lesson Thanks
Thanks
Thanks
Rob, be great to see you interview Shaun Baxter. Amazing player and teacher. Cheers
KIller stuff!! I go back and forth trying to find the "right" pick. What do you suggest?
what's with all the fashion gurus in these comments ?
hammer time- break it down!
hammer hammer slide pick slide hammer eggs spam and spam… ;)chappers rule !!
damn,,,, this is so enjoyable,,, and fun watching…. it will take me time to practice but i hope i can get it soon…. thanks for the video…..
8:04 "It's kind of a funky thing you can do"
…LIAR!!
It's a funky thing other people can do 🙂
Are we not going to talk about those awesome PJ pants?
Mister, please go to a gym, stop to paint your hair and feel something when you play. you are not cool or smart or a good player, because you don`t feel anything . you are funny!!!
A real guitarist did not need an intsructions from talking..keep the beast scream and let them get it by themselves. hearing is the key.. 😉
Always enjoy yer stuff, As the former editor of two music mags, lemme just suggest two things that will make you the galatctic teacher of Albion,
1. Move the camera closer, so we can see your fingers easier,
2. Play SLOWLY, No, MORE slowly, at least once, Many teacher's muscle memory takes over and you don't realize you are going way to fast, If you show if v-e-r-y S-l-o-w-l-y even just ONCE, i can play that over again and make sure I got it,
Right now, I enjoy watching you play, but its too fast and far away for me to get the patterns,
Anyway, please consider, Many thanks, Vic Garbarini
Thanks for the lesson, helped me loads. My girlfriend has those pyjamas as well.
