Man, Euge, I would love to see you & Henrik do a recording project together. You both have huge tone, but the frequencies are a bit different in yours compared to his, which would make your sound & Henrik's fit together really well. Hey Euge, you're a big guy in Finnish metal guitar circles. Do you think you could be the guy who got actual guitarist to guitarist gear/history talk with Roope Latvala? Is he in a place to talk about old days in an interview? There's so many questions he could answer that most people have never asked, at least people who were in position to put the information out there.
Recently I discussed with my friend talking about those old RR Jacksons that he and other Stone guitarists had, some of them went to Laiho and Laiho got his own ones, and my friend said they might not have had recession for the Floyd. And I realised I had never even thought about that possibility, it's such a given these days. But I haven't seen pictures that would clearly reveal it either. As an example of only one of the things. Jani of late Jackson Guitar Palace could've probably answered that, the site potentially even had some of old Stone/similar guitar specs listed.
Also there's all the weird projects like Waltari and Latvala Bros. His classical roots. He is supposedly big on working old cars too. Would be truly fascinating to hear about how it was in the Finnish metal scene back when Stone hit through. Where did it start, who were the dudes on stages and around them in that era, how were the gig places etc. I've read some from Rauta-aika by Jone Nikula, but it's still somewhat limited.
