Hey Dylan, in case you havent noticed by now, it works so keep going. I started using exotic styles & materials several decades ago. People really like it, like it makes the instrument a little more personal to the individual. Thumbs up.????
This is a really cool concept, Dylan. I first remember seeing designs like these on Bare Knuckle pickups when they first got big maybe 15 years ago. It was like one of the intricate Steve Vai Ibanez Jem fretboard vine inlays, but on a pickup cover, and I had never seen that before. That said, BKs tend to be quite expensive here in the States and I never got around to trying them.
Do you also have plans to do Fender Wide Range sized pickups as well? Can these lasers be used for fretboard inlays?
I really appreciate your open-mindedness toward doing these designs for various pickups and not making it a proprietary thing. You're collaborating with others, while other companies are arguing about who owns "PAF" and "double cream." It's a refreshing thing to see.

Instead of aesthetic things it would be great if pickup manufacturers would publish the stats on the various measurements like Henries, inductance etc so the public could get a decent idea of the actual tonal differences between pickups.
Being able to have your own artwork engraved on a pickup cover is a great idea. I think you are gonna have a lot of success with that idea. I don't know the technical limitations, but I second the pick guard idea suggestion from a previous comment. I've got all kinds of ideas bouncing around in my head…

Hey Dylan! I found your channel recently and I subscribed and I find it very very interesting. So, greetings from Bulgaria! Could you share some thoughts on something I'm attending to do with one of my guitars. Recently I bought two Seymour Duncan pickups to put in my Ibanez guitar. One is the Dimebucker, and the other one is a Psyclone (neck). I know it would be a weird combination maybe, but could you share some insight on what to look for when choosing a pickup combinations? Also I'm thinking on sothering one pickup out of phase at one point, to see of it works well in the middle position. If interested I could record some oxsamples of this experiment.

I’ve been to TTG twice now, and finally starting to make my own style of tele, strictly for fun. I have plans to use a lot of “hippy wood” as Matt would say. I really like this idea you have, I’m look forward to getting some unique covers from you soon. Great Idea!!

I have worked with various laser stuff over the years , it’s cool and you’re just scratching the surface of your capabilities. Add some 3d stuff might find it will change the sound slightly; concave is mellow and convex is more twangy. This is theory on a telecaster.
Thanks Dillon your the man. Just ordered tele set up with 500 pots no load tone with a 33 cap this is going in a sykimor boady. And solid roasted neck with Tex mex pickups . Ought to be strong in the middle .
