  • I have a full Amplitube rig setup and love this unit – it's super easy to set up and edit patches. The only thing it's missing for me would be more foot controllers or an option to use my Behringer midi Controller. Other than that, this unit is awesome-sounding and really sounds killer!

  • I use this with a Boss HM2, so I just have the Valeton for amp sims and effects. The distortion on it is a lil yucky in my humble opinion so I’d suggest having a separate distortion pedal you like

  • After buying and selling the GP200 5 times and couldn’t get it to sound good for going direct to FRFR or direct to PA I decided to buy a used GP100. This sounds so much better going direct to FRFR. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

  • I bought this pedal which I do really like it. But I’m having a issue with mine my display screen went blank white screen but it still works I can still use it with the software on my computer so I can see the display. I also contacted VALETON about the issue with the display screen on my pedal going blank white screen they told me to replace the power supply I did and still didn’t fix my screen problem so I’m stuck with the pedal just can’t see any of pedal effects but I still like the pedal it’s really cool great video ????????????????

  • You'd be surprised the tones you can get from an old Digitech Rp from 10-15 years ago, lol. These are better though, in most every way.

  • I'm a 25+ year guitar player, and a tube amp snob. I went to a friends jam the other day and just brought my guitar, and happen to use this for the first time. I gotta say, I was really impressed with it. I was able to actually play effectively on it. 5 stars in my book.

  • I find stupid that people value the metal chassis and the metal switches. The zoom G1X is lighter and better in every way in the interface, the knobs, and so on and is also very very solid.
The only downside is the IR that is outdated.
If they could update the IR, the zoom pedal would be a much better choice overall.
Are you buying the sound or the metal chassis?

  • Great video! I just bought the Gp-100 a couple days ago and really like it. But I have questions about recording. Hope you can help. I'm not sure where to start. My setup is a bit weird. The unit is going through an old Phonic Powerpod 820 PA. I have it plugged into the first two channels, panned left and right for stereo effect. It sounds great. I have the USB from the Valeton plugged into my desktop PC, which is then USB'd into my TV. I use the TV as my monitor. I also have a PreSonus AudioBox iTwo interface into the PC. But the power button for the external speakers I had broke. But I assume the TV speakers will still work with that (I haven't tried yet). For recording I'm just using Cakewalk. Cakewalk recognizes the ASIO software from Valeton, I guess from the USB connection, but I'm not getting a signal into the recording software. Do I need to use the PreSonus interface with the Valeton? I was lead to believe the Valeton was an interface. Also, I have to admit, I'm not good with any recording software. I'm missing something. Thanks for reading this if you have. Any feedback would be much appreciated!

  • Great review thanks. Any idea why the drums dont record while running tbru the computer daw? Guitar records but I'll have the drums on too and during play back they are gone.

  • Thank you for the review! Seems to be a really nice device. But can it be used for acoustic electric guitars as well? I do not want any unusual (e.g. distortion, "space sounds", etc.), or ruin the instrument's natural sound with tons of effects… I just need some nice quality reverb, chorus, and a volume pedal. And considering the price of those if I buy them as separate items (3 analog pedals), the cost would be much more.

So that is why I'm thinking on a compact, but – in terms of sound – quality digital multi-effect solution. What do you think about this, please?

  • Great video, thank you! I'm looking for something to use to record my demos using Logic Pro without hammering my CPU by using the built-in amps and effects. I want to use JCM200 and Fender Twin models right now and although you didn't show those specifically, I think I can be confident that I'll get the sounds I want.

  • Hi congrats for your video. For the same price do you suggest Ik multimedia axe solo i/o + Amplitube 5 ? I use it only for studio with headphone and some recording. I had a bad experience with Ik multimedia Irig HD (cheap device), always not working so I switched to Modeler pedals for not having issues any more with drivers, latency, ecc. Maybe ik multimedia axe i/o is another world (no functional issues). I also tried valeton gp100, but it produces cracks noises when used as usb audio interface with my laptop sending a backing track to it. I read other users had these issues with headphone so I returned it and came back to gp200lt . Maybe it's a problem of overload signal due to less headroom in the gp100. So What do you suggest for my use? Valeton gp200Lt or Amplitube 5? Thanks. Alessandro.

  • Currently have 1 GP100 planning on buying another one instead of GP200 since i dont have the budget for it. Would you recommend 2 valeton gp100? Or should u buy stompboxes instead?

  • Hello sir. I just received my gp-200 and I really appreciate the download you are offering. Could you please create acoustic presets for download? Thank you.

  • Thinking about something like this or the NUK pedal to do direct recordings at a friend's house, can fit in a gig bag and simple set up
