  • Mr. Kristofferson was truly inspirational for me through my teens and into my 20s. He's one of the greats. I am so grateful that I was old enough to hear this incredible singer/song writer. RIP.

  • I saw him live in Sweden a couple of years back and you could tell he was’nt in shape to play, he even excused himself beforehand. He did the songs the best he could but the people I were with left in disappointment and said some bad things. This lives with me because to me he is a genius and a legend and I just wish we could have seen him in his prime. I love you Kris and A Sunday Morning Coming Down surely is one of the greatest songs ever written, along with many others you wrote and performed. ❤️

  • May he rest easy and let us thank for his music! It hits me really hard.????????????
My favourite line of Kris is:
Freedom is just another word for nothing left to loose.
But there are so many more. I love his writing and his music much! He'll be missed!
Willie is now the last leaf on the tree.????

  • He seemed like the perfect man, great songwriter, Oxford scholar, award winning actor, deep voice and brutally handsome.

  • Thanks, Michael, for bringing this forward! I do not remember the intricate harmonies that this song had until I heard this version! Kris was truly a blessing to the musical industry…

  • Thanks Michael, great song always played it , you can play it as an absolute beginner guitarist or vocalist. Getting it rigth and bringing across the emotion comes with more skill and mostly more life experience…just like any Kristofferson song. The man is a legend.

  • Simple music with profound poetry woven in. Kristofferson and Dylan. Nobody else comes close.
Kris's songs have been with me from his beginning when I was a teenager. Thanks m'dear. Happy Trails.

  • I could never really get on board with Kris Kristofferson‘s music, I never cared for the way he sang. He always sounded a little out of key to me, but he certainly wrote some good songs for other people to sing. I actually liked him as an actor better than asinger songwriter. Rest in peace brother.

  • i never could have imagined that i would feel as sad as i do for a man that i never even met. i first remember seeing kris as the rubber duck in the movie convoy. i come from a family of truck drivers and i remember watching the movie with my dad when i was a child back in the 90s i must have seen that movie well over 100 times in my 31 years of life. but i discovered kris as a singer and songwriter about the time i turned 14 when i discovered the highwaymen. i mean i already knew who they all were as solo artists but it was only then when i really started to realize just what a special talent kris was and i was hooked ever since. since that time i probably listened to every song and every variation of anything that kris ever wrote and sung. i finally got to see him perform in person back in 2018. he performed with merle's band at the FM Kirby Center in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania. i was so captivated by him and his performance that night. that concert will go down as one of the top 3 best concerts that i ever saw. he was an amazing person.. i have been dabbling a little bit over the past few years learning to play guitar and i figured what better way to honor a great man and a true legend than learning one of his songs.. RIP Kris

  • He will be greatly missed. I don't want to "blanket statement" and ALL the music these days is horrible, but you really have to go out of your way and find this kind of talent. Just great lyrics, singing, harmonies, and instrumentation that's not overpowering everything. Keep them coming Michael! ✌️
