  • Even just messing around on a song and Mikes heart is beating through every touch of his guitar. Truly blessed by whatever you believe in as a higher power.

  • What's the definition of a true gentleman (or lady)? It's someone who knows how to play slappy-tappy guitar but chooses not to. ????????????

  • I heard Mike for the first time maybe 4 years ago. This dude is just out of this world.

  • Mike is such a genuine guy. He’s engaging and eloquent in both his music and personality.

  • Wow I am fucking blown away by that sound, absolute dreamscape (or creamscape … he he)

  • I had the privilege of seeing Mike with Tommy Emmanuel at the beautiful Elsinore Theatre. Wow! what a treat. 2 of the best guitarists on earth.

  • Mike is amazing! Very education and informative episode If I was ever invited to the show I'd play my original songs "Do it Again" and "Paper Cup" just the solo acoustic versions 🙂

  • Gonna buy the vinyl so I can listen on my runs. Still working out the strap to hold my 1962 turn table that’s the size of a dresser.

  • I'm gonna play the charles berthoud interview next. Like this comment so I would be reminded time and again that there are still talented guitarists and musicians out there doing their stuffs with real passion and dedication. Kudos to you rick for bringing out these people out into the whole world! Subscriber here from the philippines. ❤️

  • This is so impressive: Mike's father delivers the orders. I am absolutely touched and wish there were many more people with the passion and desire to make people happy like Mike. Thank you Rick for this lovely interview.

  • I love you both. Rick, I'm considering suggesting this video to a music reactor but I want your permission first. I know she will promote you and Mike and will suggest that her audience go straight to your channels even before doing the reaction. I'm not a fan of reactors who make an easy income out of other people's work without due respect for the originators. I'm sure it will be worth it by way of promoting both of you. I won't suggest it if I don't get a nod from you. (By the comment count I think I'll be very lucky if I do) That was so stunning to watch and listen to. Thank you.

  • Isato Nakagawa was so good and this artist reminded me of Isato. RIP ????
Justin Johnson is really good at the dark swamp sound.
Never heard of this artist but he is real good too!!❤
If he has a channel, I am subscribing.
I think this is the direction good music will be going.
Atmospheric otherworlds… inner world. Relaxing music like this.
    Maybe its just me.

  • A true virtuoso, but also a super funny and extremely humble human. So warm. At his concert where he himself sold and signed his merch, there was a girl in the line, so he just gave her the CD she wanted from his personal stock and told her to just listen to it and save the money for a musical instrument to play.

  • Used to watch him in a pub in Godalming alongside Newton Faulkner some evenings. He's amazing and glad to see him doing so well.

  • Amazing guitarist and I love the explanations of the playing, pick-up set-up and the pedals etc. One question, why is the tuner button of the low E string machine head black and the rest are gold? Is it a special machine head?

  • This is some of the most beautiful sounds I’ve ever heard in my life. It’s just so phenomenal words can’t do it justice. What a gift mike is!
