That bird's eye maple finger board is beautiful.
Holy shit thats groovin
Bass playing 101
Basic.
I lead with my Pionter and hit the octave with my Ring finger lt just flows better for my 3 finger technique beautiful neck!
Killer line at the beginning of the video. What’s that chord progression?
DSL’s
Thanks for the tutorial? May I ask How do u play it if the rhythm is root / octave octave (triplet feel)
I always pluck the root with my ring finger and the octave with my index finger. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's just sorta how it happened when I was learning.
I don't know why but I tend to do this with my thumb on the lower string and middle finger on the higher string.
Love your Tutorials…
Short, to the point, effective
You got me MOTIVATED.
Thanks.
Keep up the good work.
J.p.
P.S.( I just happen to LOVE that style)
I use finger per string, so lead with 2nd finger (pointer) and do upper with 4th finger. If I wan’t fifth I use 3rd finger (middle)
Turn the clicks off for 1 and 3. That’s how I got a lot better.
Great presentation.
What a killer tone!!
Middle finger gang where at
its hard to switch to this.. i use middle finger on low string because i can feel the groove better
The buzz on that E string would drive me nuts. Trips me out when bass players go for super low action and just ignore the buzzing.
