  • ive used an sd1 pushed by a rat box for decades. the harder you push it the creamier it gets. great pedal. same circut in both of those

  • Great job man! The SD-1 is my favorite dirt pedal from Boss, sadly it was stolen a couple years ago along my whole pedaboard, that lead me to get the GX-100. When they added the SD-1 on the updated firmware I was very happy but I got the itch to compare it againtst a real SD-1. What an excelent job the did moddeling this pedal, I can confirm I'm even happier with my GX-100, even though I will get another SD-1 and build another analog board just because, you know…we're guitarist????
I'm assuming you'll do next a comparison of the original DS-1 vs the new GX100's DS1 model right?

  • Yeah, only heard the differences mostly because you have both on the screen but in live setting no one could guess if it's modeler or analogic. The Gx-100 is trully an overlooked modeler, budget friendly and professionnal sounding, can't wait to get one (even if the Gx-10 is out i still want the big one). Nice playing btw!
