  • hello scott, sorry if my question is not relevant to the video, but i have just received my Boss katana mkii head ((t has 2023 on the back.)) once i have turned it on, there is a unusal humm noise coming out the back of the amp just underneath the power plug. is this normal with the 100 mkii head? as my boss katana mkii 50 ex doesnt have any such noise, any advice? could it be software issue.? thanks

  • I found the katana does a phenomenal job with clean tones and works great with pedals going through the power amp.

I just have a terrible time with making good metal tones ????????????????????????

    Great video as always!

  • I've never used any Katana product but I would think they would have a great clean tone because of the classic Roland JC line. Is the Katana clean setting a JC sim? Your tones sounded just fine. ????
