I agree it would be easier to find a new girlfriend but still worth learning. Great tutorial ????
Quite a few similarities to hawaiian slack key guitar, where the thumb is completely doing its own thing. This has always been a beautiful tune to my ears, mahalo for the video ????
I will learn this by next month. Hopefully with proof on my channel
Look it's easy
This just pisses me off. At 75 I can see there are three kinds of people.
Those that can play this sweet sweet ditty in their sleep….. blindfolded…..
Those of us who have been working on it for years and it’s still outta reach……
And those of us who will NEVER be able to play it….
Man, thanks for the try though. //ji
Nobody gets those top end chord changes????
Not good on a 12 string. Or maybe I just suck. Probably the second one
I feel like my wrist is gonna break
Update: I got it now
Your playing and explanation are excellent. I also appreciate your excellent disposition. May you be blessed beyond measure.
Maggestuosso !!!!!
How do you not get carpel tunnel from this? Great tutorial!
Never mind I figured out what I was doing wrong. Bad habit of facing thumb perpendicular to the neck. When having my thumb parallel to the neck behind it, I don't get tension. That's gonna take some work to break that habit but I'm glad I figured it out
Gotta love mr buckingham and the way he composes these guitar jewels and our host here isnt too shabby himself excellent teacher and musician thanks

Dude, is there anything u cannot play. Very cool. What?!..not a beginner song. Who would've thought.lol.
Still getting cramps every time I play this. Thanks for the great breakdown.
Thank you! This has taught me so much! I can't believe it was so easy to realize that I will amount to nothing!
When a high level player here says its difficult…then ????
No lead part?
It reminds me of Green Green Rocky Road.
It sounds like E flat minor.

I love this!
Though after months of learning this song I noticed that one thing he forgot is that, on pattern 1 and 2, the G-string should be plucked on the 2nd fret between low E-note and the triplets if you want it to be as similar as possible to the studio version. Compare his version to the one on spotify and you will understand what I mean!
With that said, this lesson is golden and I am so thankful for it! 10/10!
I’m a hybrid picker, so this has been a real challenge. Tried it and gave up many times over the years, but it finally took. Thanks for your help!
Unfortunately, I have to get someone else to sing it….cant play at the same time!
This and dust in the wind are two great exercise songs…
This one is a serious challenge for me but your breakdown is perfect and in line with my guitar instructors layout. I need to get this down well enough to impress him..lol. Thanks for your help!!
Meh, I’ll look this up again in a couple months
Very excited to learn from this ….I'm doing pretty good so far …do you show the lead riff in another tutorial?
Thank you so much and in fact I'm learning your version of Jackson brown song these days…splendid yes your right that reverse picking has dumbed up my progress a bit lol
You suck at teaching
