  • Well…this video is geared towards selling these, so I thought I'd offer a non-sales derived contribution to this conversation. I have one of these. It's kinda blah. Oh wait let me preface. I play real shows, not on youtube. I tour internationally, blah blah blah. I've played around 5000 shows I think. A lot, I know. I nerd out on gear to the point where I could pretty much run sound and play guitar adequately to get paid on pretty much any stage. I don't give two shits about content creation I'm a guitar player, not a pandering self-centered ego maniac videographer. Anyhow…these are fine. Are they pro? Absolutely not. Are they good for rehearsal? Almost. Are they good enough to have in your living room to mess around? No. Your gear needs to inspire you to play. This doesn't do that. The gain structure is identical on every patch. The matchless gain has the same feel as the marshall gain has the same feel as the tweed gain. The overdrive pedals are all the same gain structure with slightly different eq curves, but all the same type of gain, if that makes sense. With every pedal and amp model, there is a papery, single dimensional, kazoo quality to the gain. Again, every amp. Every pedal. All the same feel when under gain. The clean tones are not useable at all. No bounce, no jangle, no push, no bloom. Just clanky tones with zero sustain. As you roll down the gain on every patch you reduce sustain and take life out of the note. As you roll up the gain you add that weird kazoo gain to the note. There's a happy middle ground, for sure. It's pretty sweet right there. I spent about two hours with it and that's all it's getting out of me. Honestly I get wonderful tones with my normal pedal board going into a Q Strip. That little box is a godsend. Anyhow, I'm annoyed because I bought this thing based on this review and it's obvious to me that you guys are making a few bucks for this one…or perhaps, based you your review of this pedal, we should ignore all of your "reviews." I'd use a digitech before this all day long.

  • Possibly the second time I have watched this. Still deciding between the Valeton or Boss ME90.

  • I tried other modelers and chose this opposed to its more expensive peers. This is a stupid deal for what you get.

It’s easy to use, and sounds great.

  • FFS stop sliding down the neck before you playing something. It's as annoying as FK. What's the point? Boring. Takes no skill. Sounds awful.

  • I am very probably wrong, but I see this as an awesome "studio" machine. For some reason I can't see myself using this on a live stage, without having to always getting on my knees to change the settings after each song. Unless I have some kind of pedestal next to me and being able to make changes standing up. Again…I am probably wrong, but is the impressions it gives me!

  • I wish andertons would have spent 30 more seconds on the looper feature. The looper is buggy AF. The undo doesn't work properly. The reverse function is cool but if you record with it on, the entire thing freaks out. When you try recording over USB with the looper function, the loop volume is super quiet compared to live instrument volume.

It's great for the money, but has some large bugs in what could be the funnest feature. Hopefully they can fix this with firmware updates.

  • Is the looper… multitrack loopers? Can you record multiple and store the loops in different tracks just like Boss Rc600? Thanks mate ????

  • I love my Valeton GP 200, I’ve found several IRs and presets labeled as PRST like this I can’t get no cl.prst you go to computer and you’ll see on right side two squares next to each other above the list one is import other is export the other three I think first is save . But just make sure when your download purchased presets go up to around 30-A and look for your empty presets called it’s gp 200 lots of empty spots I’ve downloaded approx 20 purchased and I still have lots of slots ….. IRs are a block dead center top says IR click it then look for your purchased or free IRs click one also be in the it’s gp 200 upper spaces and build you a patch with IR I’ve done about 10 of those too Soldano, Friedman, Engle, 800 JCM , VOX , AC SIMM , exc… then just assign you pedals 1234 to turn on / off OD, MOD, REV get great leads

  • I'm kinda regretting buying the Tonex pedal now. This looks far better as an input into my DAW input and for practicing.

  • For an aspiring pub gig guitarist would you recommend this, or perhaps the software / PC equivalent that offers multiple pedal effects?

  • the price seems really good for someone like me, im so novice to these, I own a Boss GT-8 but this is damn great!

  • I don't understand this mentality of fx pedals for beginners, have you noticed how no one makes videos about guitar pedals for advanced players?, it is always for beginners and it is all about this $200 price range which I think it is still a decent amount of money for a pedal but ok, so where's the pedal for us advanced players?, because apparently we are too good for this one.
