I played trumpet in middle school, and sang second bass in musical choruses, but I've always loved the sound of the bass (guitar). I've always felt that groups that have the bass play a simple repetitive phrase over and over and over are really underappreciating this powerful instrument.
Bass is good, but the talk box guitar work rules that tune.
