Thank you for this fantastic pentatonic scale test guitar theory lesson! It was incredibly engaging and informative. The way you structured the lesson and provided exercises for testing our knowledge really helped solidify my understanding of the pentatonic scale. I've been struggling with incorporating it into my playing, but your clear explanations and practical exercises have given me the confidence to dive deeper into this essential aspect of guitar theory. I appreciate the effort you put into creating such valuable content, and I'm looking forward to applying what I've learned in my practice sessions. Keep up the excellent work!
One of the most underrated video series, a true gem.
These videos deserve way more views!
I was taught differently on guitar. I was taught, if you do a C Major Pentatonic, for example, and to back two frets from the root, then you have the minor with the same scale. In other words, if the root is C then its the C Major Pentatonic Scale – go back two frets and its the Am Pentatonic Scale – exact same notes.
Finally! One set of videos that tie the scales together and is explained in an easy to understand, comprehensive and applicable manner to me who is just learning some music theory. Thank you!
Thank you
Great course
Hell yeah!
I'm 6 months into playing self-taught guitar and piano and finally I'm starting to connect all the dots that will allow me to really start diving into the world of music! I can't believe how amazing it already feels to play music back and forth translating some simple notes from the piano to the guitar or vice-versa, and now, thanks to your insight on the pentatonic scales I am finally beginning to understand how I can jam with people I meet from all over the world in the right keys without making a fool of myself by sounding like a seagull whilst trying to improvise random notes! Music is awesome!
Thank you!
Great sir now I will go through each theroy lesson and at the end I know I will learn lots of things from you….. Thanks a lot
Thankyou very much sir..i usually got confused between pentatonic scale and blue scale..now its all clear jst because of u..thankyou sir…❤????????
Great job going through all of this! It's exactly what I was trying to learn. So many videos just try to get you to 'memorize' the boxes. I want to know HOW it works and why!? Thanks again.
I watched through all your vids on the pentatonic scales man. I had a pretty good idea of this stuff already, but I was trying to find out how the pentatonic scale works in terms of how it relates to major (or minor) scale that it is in the key of. From what I gather, the minor pentatonic's key is the same as the 6th scale degree of the relative major key. That was my question, but your videos helped me figure out the answer. Thanks!
