Great channel…
The noise is due to it being on the same power strip as other electronics! Its best to have its own power strip and not close to anything themat could produce a hum.
Its kinda rhe same theory as mics.
I would love it if they made one that was 60W and stereo. Mine sounds fantastic.
Thanks for the demo. I’m just wondering is it loud compared to joyo bantamp? Or the orange tiny terror?
I have this connected to a celestion 75w speaker and it sounds amazing in my office. I tried it in rehearsals but its just not loud enough with a drum kit. Excellent for home use though, tone is fantastic either straight in or with effects (ive used with my boss gt100 and it founds great). Tone is a pleasant bright trebley sound with a middling amount of gain. Love it
digital noise, is from radio signals, cellphone or Bluetooth.
The short section of the power cable has reasons why it was chosen. It can easily plug into a multi-output rack AC power unit, without unnecessary extra cable length. You can easily buy a cheap, good quality extension cable that you keep in a bag with the amp.
I recently bought one. I love it. However, I have a vintage Digitech S-100 that when I insert it in the amp's effects loop the input volume meters on the S-100 increase in amplitude when I increase the TAR-20G's master volume control. I'm using as a totally clean power source for my old Rockman Sustainor that I recently brought out to play around with again.
I always understood effects loops to be line level. To my understanding there should be no increase in input level into the S-100 from the amp. It follows that that would also be introducing unwanted distortion.
Does anyone else have this issue?
I think all my cabs are 4 and 8ohm.
The short power cable may be to keep the packaging smaller to fit a lot more of them in a container. With container and shipping prices being what they are, this can be a big saving for the company to keep the price down. Most people already have longer power cables around anyway, and even if they don't they're dirt cheap to buy the length you need.
Excellent review!
Thank you so much!
cool
Can you surpass drums in a rehearsal with this?
Hi! Can you run the speaker and the "line out/cab sim" at the same time?
Hi. I want the guitar version for the Reverb funtion for use My Telecaster but I need use My guitar bass too …it is okay? Or the guitar head Will be destroy? Or I need de bass head versión who doesn't have Reverb for chorus? Help me!
Dam good sound,, great demo. Nice nice playing.
They do a bass guitar version of this as well, does anyone have one and how does it perform?
That hum sounds like a Fax machine! Quilters are dead quiet.
Really good video editing Shaun as usual. Love the sound of this little amp, amazing! So much so I just placed an order for one. Your playing style and your choice of guitars is totally spot on for me too. Your Harley Benton Tele sounds great, I have a CST24 Harley Benton which I love but my go to guitar is an early 80's Tokai Springy sound Strat which I have had from new. I also have an Artcore 335 type which I love too. I just subscribed as well, great videos and enjoy your playing! Cheers, Roddy from Scotland.
Share that intro lick man… Tabs baby… I love it…. Loves from philippines
Excellent playing, as usual Shane, and nice tones from the amp, but did you ever hear back from them about that digital noise…? Can it be eliminated somehow…?
Ever did a video connecting the guitar strait in the audio interface and using only plugins? that'll be great
