  • The sound seems compressed. Does this demo have post compression? It would be cool to hear the Ground and Pound bass distortion.

  • I was so hooked and then realized it cost 3x the amount of my bass (I got a cheapo Amazon bass so what)

  • now do a video comparing this to a Boss Ds-1,wonder why noone does that? $50 vs $450… these pedal prices are getting stupid

  • I have tried every distortion pedal out there held in high regard by bassists. I have to say that the Big Booty Judy is the best one I’ve ever owned. I can really get that Jaco “word of mouth” tone which I’ve never been able to achieve elsewhere

  • Omg I’ve been eyeing one of these. Just got my strymon so its my next pedal purchase. I’m glad you just made this video ❤

  • Why do I have the feeling that the makers of this pedal are trolling everyone into googling “big booty Judy”
Methinks a much different product will be easily found at the top of the search…????

  • Stick to bass guitars and bass guitar gear…. keep your political opinions private. UNSUBSCRIBED.

  • So good to see BBJ from Jordan Ray Landers on your channel! Been following this guy on Insta for a while now. He's a boss! Does this pedal not give you shades of Nolly's ADAM pedal?

  • Awesome demo as always, Patrick ???????????????? that pedal has a pretty killer tone. Seriously heavy tone right there. If you haven’t try this pedal yet, check out the source audio aftershock. It’s Another killer and unique distortion pedal for bass.

  • Suits well your agressive playing style I must say. Layout of the pedal is very similar to Laney's Blackheath, but the sounds are very different.

  • Great sounding pedal! I really wish it was priced in the sub $200 range, but understand there are significant costs involved in building a new brand and the operational overhead of in-house manufacturing.

Hopefully prices will eventually come down to the range of Walrus, Source Audio, and other "boutique" brands. As good as this sounds, I'm excited to see what they'll come up with next.

  • one of my favorite things about you Patrick, is that you have an array of really expensive, vintage, and cheap stuff when you demo things. you really do it right. hoping one day we can meet and shoot the breeze out there in dfw.

Great review definitely thinking about getting one of these.

  • Thanks to Patrick IG I got to know the man behind this pedal, aka THE GOAT Jordan Ray Landers. Amazing bassist and human being! This pedal is SICK AF.
