  • AVAA. I always appreciate the self-aware winking through your videos and the acknowledgement that we can be unhappy with something (the grindset) while continuing to participate in it.

    Also, album review suggestion alert:
Vylet Pony – Monarch of Monsters
One of my personal favorites of this year, and it’s quite a ride with its conceptual writing and storytelling.
I’m not sure how it will sit with you, given its extremely explicit nature in terms of sound, themes, lyricism and visuals, but it is a really interesting album. (Especially when you read its Bandcamp page description on it, as it gives a lot of perspective.)

  • Heyy. I'm from Catalonia, Spain, and I follow you since you posted a video talking about ill pekeño and ergo pro, two of my favorite rappers. I'm not very good at English, but I really enjoy your videos. I didn't know about DEVO, but based on what you've said it reminds me of a punk band called Lendakaris Muertos, from Pamplona, Spain. They are super energic, short songs, ironic and cinical and with plenty of humor. I highly recomd you to try to listen them. Maybe the first and the last album are not so good but try some of the others. Thank you for the content

  • AVAA Skye you're the coolest uncle I'll never have. Thanks for reviewing so much stuff and being so passionate about it.

About to listen to Kendrick's new masterpiece… unless it's not a masterpiece

  • AVAA! The garden started as an egg punk band. Every young person with internet has access to almost all the music ever recorded, you gotta remember that.

  • AVAA! Discovered this band very recently, and I’ve become addicted. If you want to get more into egg punk, Snõõper (yes, that is how you spell it) is another great act. Their album Super Snõõper, which remixes a lot of their earlier lofi stuff, is also catchy and bonkers!

  • AVAA There's another band that just signed to Atlantic called The Hellp. They just dropped their debut and its fantastic. They have a really unique sound that pulls from a lot of places. Like there's the obvious crystal castles connection but then some songs are just really punk and some of the vocal melodies that the singer Noah hits give me just straight blink-182 vibes. Anyways I think it's a really good album and I think it deserves more attention.

  • Daryl Johns album has way more instrumental cuts on it than I thought. It also has fretless bass so I can compare it to Joni Mitchell Hejira and impress everyone

That astronaut meme is just a parody of betrayal plot twists in movies I think, you know where a guy comes up behind somebody with a gun or something and says a dramatic line?
