How are you powering the vp4 … great video great playing
Appreciate the insight into how this piece of gear could be utilized in the real world. Appears it could be an entire pedalboard in a pinch, but rather applies as something that can cover 90% of what's needed. Small as can be, yet powerful as can be. Exp pedal is a must though, IMO.

Guitar heroes bore me to tears. It's a display of self aggrandizement fest.
The most overlooked part of Fractal is that beyond their superior amp modeling and thousands of modeled cabs, their effects are as good or better than the best available pedals from Strymon and definitely Boss and MXR style pedals. But also on par with the Eventide rack units prior to the current H9000 offering. That Eventide unit is in another stratosphere. But for 99.9% of us who have time to watch videos, build home studios and comtemplate these kinds of purchases, post 2019 Fractal Audio modelers are more than you will ever, ever need for recording and live use.
The power of this unit allows for quite a bit of singular use for basic Amp/Cab/Mod/Verb or Dly/Verb.
But effects stacking is incredible if you throw it in the loop.
If you really need to be blown away, the Axe FX III will allow effects stacking that's almost multi-dimensional. Seemingly with no limit to creative use.
Totally ruined that Mountain song with the stupid pyrotechnics.

Andy…dude…that clean at 14:08 is the straight shizz. Is that a factory preset? Would love to know how the tone was shaped using the parametric EQ. What is the host amp for that specific snippet and is it the same amp throughout your demo? Killing it man!

Your Wampler pedal sounds better than the Riot. I have an early iteration of the Riot and I love it, but your Wampler is way more liquid sounding. Very nice!

Hey man, honestly is this thing worth a shit? You know me…I hate this kind of stuff. Is it hard to use? Does it sound cooler than an eventide h9?

Andy, thanks for this video you convinced me to purchase this pedal by bringing out all the really cool intricacies that a lot of demo's just seem to overlook so thanks for that, and by the way your playing is just crazy good I'am a fan anyway thanks for a great video and content!
Andy, if you brought this to a session or gig and someone says “did you bring a baritone or 12 string?” how would you feel about using the pitch shift on Vp4? Would it do something similar to digitech drop tune or mosaic? Or better? I imagine since fractal quality and latency is so good you might get by. But I am an old school guy, love a real bari of course.
