Funk ❤️
JHS did a couple Ross videos and hoped the guitar world would be enamored by them… it wasn't. Oh well. There's no shortage of good pedals out there. Next…
I bought the fuzz du ring the sale
Josh Scott needs to face consequences for driving another classic company into the ground and orchestrating a pump and dump. His sycophantic supporters need to know the truth.
The Keeley compressor is already a take on the Ross compressor. And its been made for 20 years. So no point on getting the inferior ross comp.
The only reason this didn’t sell is because no asked for a basic pedal that cost 200+.
For that money I could get 3-5 clones on Aliexpress.
they are all gone for the 79 price……….all of them
Lol video is already out of date – they’re all gone
It's the size that killed these pedals.
I'm going to echo the thoughts of others here, they're good pedals, but far too expensive for what they actually offer. The pedal market is big and very crowded these days, there are a lot of good, affordable options & the Ross pedals just aren't going to cut it for most consumers.
Dat Phaser tho ????????????
I think I’m gonna try to pick up the fuzz
"There's no funk in this body." lol
Ross pedals were too expensive and too basic.
Most pedals now offer more versatility with multiple gain, tone and clipping options for a third the price of Ross.
Funk free and proud!
I know which ones I want. If they sell out before I can buy them, oh well. Quality pedal at a great prices, but I should be winnowing my collection , not adding more.
Elderly has already started selling a few of them at $79 today
Ross is cool no doubt but I like JHS better and I think JHS beat out Ross tbh.
hey man sshhhhhhh, if every one knows they are going to sellout in 2 min lol IF I CAN, ill be buying the compressor and maybe the fuzz
i just got FUZZ DISTORT and COMPRESSOR. I already had CHORUS PHASER so i ahve all the line up
these were excellent pedals but almost a million viewers of the jhs video announcement but with only 2 or 3000 stock pedals i bet their price will skyrocket in reverb. if only 1% of the viewrs order 1 pedal these will be vanished in one or two hrs tops. So no reason to wait . I wrote to jhs and told them DO NOT STOP THE LINE UP. jUST GIVE A BETTER DISCOUNT and i ma sure that the market would respond in a good way.
First thing I did when Scott anounced it was to finally order the Ross Fuzz. I get that they’re going to be sold for cheap but I love that John Fogerty sound so I’d kick myself if it sold out.
172€ for that pedal was/is way too expensive for an average Joe like me though, and I think most of us low earners thought that.great build quality is a great thing, but not at all costs and not necessarily when the tech inside is so simple
I prefer the Ross phaser over the MXR. The Ross has two controls giving more options while I generally use only the 10/11 spot setting on the phase 90. it's my favourite Ross pedal.
Yeah, not sadly. Never really knew why this line was released. I don't really find these compelling. Very basic.
That type of distortion is cool in a garagey punk live band.
Prices on these are def going to skyrocket, sus that he was using them BEFORE the discontinuation. "These weren't marketed that hard" well… this is marketing so
Gonna be real they should of probably been priced around the discount price. Not knocking them but they are pretty overpriced for basic sounds that most people have already in their pedal board lineup.
Nice! "There's no funk in this body" Love it! Cheers from Seattle.
Can we see more of the Peavey musician 400?
I really like putting a Fuzz Face in front of my DOD 250, so I wonder how the Ross Fuzz in front of the Distortion would sound
Where can you get these pedals for 90 bucks?? They're still nearly 200 on JHS's website
