How hard do you have to press on the fret board on the Lava 3?
I just bought a Blue lava in pink for $279 direct from Lava. Can't beat the price ! Hell I'll slap a Hello Kitty sticker on it and go with it,Lol. You all saw how those $200 Hello Kitty Guitars now sell for $800.
The reason I chose the ME3 38" as a pure acoustic is because I tried it at the guitar store, compared models, and the ME3 has one of the punchiest bass strings i ever felt.
Definitely love the me 3 the best. Gonna buy one

Did you have play unplug ?
I did have the option for either guitar back six months ago. I warmth of the Blue Lava won me over. The low E sounds round, full and beautiful, better than most traditional guitar despite the size of the guitar. I left it in the car once and the electronic took 30 min to cool down before it will function. I would imagine that can happen to either guitar. I wish it has a cut away though.
Nice review, but man, those guitars are so out of tune, extremely difficult to listen to

Both sounds are boxy, lack warmth in the lower ends and definition overall.

hello, is ther a comparing between blue lava (me-3) and the hyvibe from LAG? thanks to react.
It's actually a dumb guitar that will not activate (LAVA+ app not connecting to the device's regional server. Contact customer support), and customer service doesn't answer. There is no "SKIP" option for activating, so now, I just have a fairly ugly guitar that doesn't sound as good as my Martin.

2 points apparently the battery in the blue is 5000mah and the me 3 is 8000mah also you did not state what size it was as there is apparently 2 sizes I did agree with your findings but would the size of the guitars make a difference I assume it would I like the tech and think it would be great for learning without a tutor what is your opinion thanks Trevor

Ok I have blue lava …… I thought lava me 3 sounded slightly warmer and therefore better to my ears. But the tech is the same I just want to improve my scales and strumming… for the price difference the slight warmer tone …isn’t worth it …love my sci-fi blue lava guitar ….
The hpl sounds better tone but the scree. And effects are better on carbon
Maybe you can make a video explaining carbon fiber(cf) guitars. What makes some more expensive than others. Are there levels to carbon fiber quality or is the price difference all in the electronics.
What is the high tech going to be like in 5 or so years time.
