Was in Nashville in late May and saw many guitar players up and down the block and then walked into Roberts and caught Kelly's Heroes in the middle of their set… Lets just say I stayed until it was over! Next time I'm in town I will surely be catching the whole set!
Luke is so good and so young. I watch his band about once a month at Robert's. I can't wait to see what his future holds. Anyone could plug into a Fender Deluxe and sound "ok"…but certain players are able to take it to another level.
I just saw a couple of "Under Dog" video with Luke, and the one guitar sounds like most of the time there is another guitar, and also a wide spectrum of tones, pretty amazing.
Actually D'Addarios suck, at least for me. Tuning stabiltty really lacks compared to EBs. But that's irrelevant, great rundown. Luke's amazing.
d' addario strings are not perfect. I still prefer Elixir because the coating on the strings make bends and slides smoother. I have never compared tone side by side but i'm fine with either brand for tone.
A must see when in Nashville ! Epic player , same with the rest of the band !
