from which concert is the daylight version?
Johnny doesn't play solos, he plays textures that stand out.
Hearing that Cemeteries of London solo was lovely to my ears
he is soo good
Met him once, he was doing his dry cleaning. Down to earth, normal bloke. Extremely tall.
Little known fact: Jonny has struggled with hand injuries over the years which have forced him to avoid Van Halen-like dramatics and keep it simple. Still, his guitar work is brilliant and he's created some of the most recognisable riffs in modern music.
Por qué ya no hacen esto en los conciertos ?
grande
y así algunos dicen que coldplay no es rock, no saben nada
The part of amsterdam ????
❤️❤️❤️
????????????
I got to hear Jonny’s amazing “in my place “ and “fix you “ and “yellow “ solos live recently and I cried ,I love Jonny and it was a magical experience,Jonny please keep being you ❤
Jonny Boy being the best ????
12:57 Cemeteries of London is out of this world. His guitar solo really gives off a haunted cemetery vibe. It's literally perfection
Saved the best for last!
Why is it that everyone I know who's never picked up a musical instrument think Coldplay are the best thing since sliced bread, and every musician I know can't stand them? Me, I'm on the fence. Jonny definitely has his moments, and for me the best Coldplay songs are the ones which put his guitar front and centre. But let's face it, Matt Bellamy from Muse is a league better than Chris & Jonny combined. Too much Coldplay sounds like Songs of Praise with the amps and tempo turned up a bit… maybe that's why so many people love it?? Coloratura is hands down amazing tho…
He is the part of Coldplay that gives me goosebumps every time
There's another really awesome guitar solo in Hurts Like Heaven which is so cool
3:35 In My Place
more please.
I pray for another album like X&Y where Jonny is shredding the whole time
Amsterdam is one of my fav Coldplay songs and his playing on that is amazing. Especially live. Ugh. So good and filled with emotion!
Jonny is a great guitarist. His solos and riffs are amazing.
Jonny is the man!!!
If I had a pound for every guitarist I know who has smugly taken great pleasure in telling me how shit they think Jonny Buckland is and Coldplay are I wouldn't have to work for a living. Not only are those pricks far too big for their own boots but they're wrong. They would do well to dump their meaningless, endless arpeggios and shreds and actually learn something from Jonny's restraint and tasteful song-oriented playing. What he does always works in the space and that's a real skill. He uses reverb and delay to tremendous effect. He's also written some of the most unassumingly iconic guitar lines in contemporary music. You get my vote Jonny Buckland ????????
Can you let me use this video for my channel
I will always love the live intro for Rush of Blood To The Head
That guitar on Major Minus. Blimey.
thank u so much to whosoever has posted this..johnny boyy
He makes it look so effortless – what a talent!
De que concierto es el último clip?? (God put a smile upon your face)
I want Jonny Buckland to join Twenty One Pilots!!!!!!!!
Tyler and Jonny both together create an insane-level composition !
🙂
I just clocked how much like radiohead coldplay were XD
Jonny's personality comes through in the way he plays guitar. He is all about making a song better and what he can contribute. Not what makes him look good but what makes the band look good. Complements Chris' personality so well which gets the best out of both of them.
All round talented, good guy who found what he was meant to do in the way he was meant to do it. Brilliantly and understated.
Jonny, Qué guitarras!!! Genio total
what is john using on his guitar to do this 1:15
Jonny reminds me of George Harrison when he creates his guitar parts!
Who said guitar players need to perform 10 notes per second to be good? One note played with emotion is better than anything else. Thank you Jonny for making me cry with just one note. You're awesome man.
What is that called? What Jonny uses in front of the pickups at 1:15?
