It's Gerardo, not "GeraLdo." We're not watching a lame, biased pseudo-jounalist talk show here. (Or are we?)
Just awesome.
Rock and roll royalty so happy they're still together ♥️????????????????????????????
maiden name – Patricia Andrejewski became Pat Benatar. (married name)
Nice to see something positive
SHE HAD THE SECOND VIDEO ON MTV WHEN THEY FIRST STARTED AWESOME I'M SO GLAD THEY'RE STILL TOGETHER I DIDN'T KNOW
NOOICE
Neil Gerardo was not responsible for "Hit Me With…" Max Martin, a struggling guitarist songwriter.
Love her (their) music! I grew up with Pat music ???? ???? ????❤
Great story!
MTV MTV MTV!!!
????????????
Lucky dude
I saw her in the 80s while at Penn State main campus. I think it was at one of the Regattas.
No. Just no.
Got to be in the small studio audience for one of her video shoots back in 1981and we were able to talk to her and Neil during breaks! Neil was such a heartthrob it was unreal! And she was so cute, and tiny!! 🙂
I absolutely love this lady's stance for children.
Very underrated guitar player and producer ????
Who is Harry Chapman?
interesting – brief visual but no audio of the guitar 'moment'
Pat Benatar ????
She still rocks the hell out of other singers. Rock on lady!
I sold Hi-Fi in the '70s and was a really serious Pat benatar fan. She was one of the few females that made it in the rock world. And when I became aware of the she started out more as a lounge singer it blew me away.
And then hearing her story about not only her musical life but also her personal life warmed my heart and the father is four daughters and three granddaughters. I love to hear success stories in the music industry beyond just their job.
Love is a battlefield worst song ever.
I loved her rock and roll sound.
I grew up on their music and I still listen to them today!
Wow true soul mates! So happy they are still here and together! 80's forever!!!!❤
Back in the 60's I met her when we were both kids.
About 13 I guess.
I remember thinking how sexy I thought her mouth was.
She was very shy.
I did kiss her and was very impressed.
When I tried to go further she shot me right down!! ????.
I thought her very impressive.
There was no mention that she was even interested in singing.
Now 73 years old I am still impressed on how lady like she was.
Their bass player, Roger Capps, also did some songwriting for the band. He brought “Hell is for Children” to the table. Pat and Neal added some of their magic to it and it was a huge hit, too. Check out those signature bass lines. All Roger through the best years.
Invincible ❤ Also love the movie The Legend of Billie Jean.
STILL TOGETHER TO GET HER
My number 1 adolescent crush. She epitomizes everything I love in women
The general rule is to never date anyone in your band, especially the lady singer, but Neil somehow managed to make it work, and he's been living the dream ever since.
Great to see a couple in the public eye stay together!
Back in the day, journalists always referred to her as "steamy Pat Benatar." I always thought that she looked like E.T. the extraterrestrial.
PATTY & SPYDER????ROMEO & JULIET
something tells me she would have succeeded anyways no matter what.. her and all the women of the 1960s rock scene were god tier talents
