“Fly Me To The Moon” Walking Bass Line | Bass Guitar Lesson

Fly Me To The Moon is a very popular Jazz Standard by Bart Howard for beginner to intermediate-level jazz players and students. It’s played all the time on gigs and recording sessions, and is therefore, fundamental Jazz repertoire for all Jazz musicians. In this walking bass line I present a collection of my favorite techniques, methods and approaches for walking the chord progression. These ideas can be applied to any and all future tunes. For more free bass tutorials, search through the “Lessons” playlist on the jplanejazz YouTube channel. Please subscribe to receive notifications of new videos.
