  • Hi Dan. I'd love you to analyse Joe Dart's bass lines from Disco Ulysses (instrumental) by Vulfpeck. There are some fairly large jumps across the fretboard, lots of octaves, and it's all at a (for me) challenging tempo (134 bpm, I think). I can get the various elements down individually, but I struggle to hook it all up smoothly, at speed. Would appreciate your breakdown of how to tackle it. Cheers!

  • It makes a difference when you use those what I call melodic fretting hand techniques verses plucking every note.
