I want to hear some bottom end dub sound. Why demo with tinny nonsense. I bet you don't sound that thin on stage.
I love my ABM-900 evo iii, but have to say, I have never been able to hear anything from the "sub-harmonics" effect. Nothing at all?
Anyone using this amp with ampeg svt classic 410he?
People today call tone distortion
The octaver is a pointless gimmick that has no value.
Sweetwater, and Ashdown… This demo sucks.
Another bass amp review ruined by slap bass.
Mark Gooday is one of the bass amp worlds greatest!
Sick of these slappy, plucky guys!!
Can I use this head with an 8 ohm 410 Rumble cabinet?
Hi. Just bought a second hand ABM EVO II 500 – planning to use it with my Trace Eliot 4 x10H cab and 1 x 15 cab. Is that ok?
What's deal with using an octave with bass lately? It's a stupid idea.
I absolutely hate slapped bass so this guy is annoying. Also turn down that treble the only person who should be allowed that much treble on bass is John entwistle, he used it somewhat tastefully and it wasn't the only part of his sound unlike this duffus.
Can I use this with a guitar 2x12cabinet ? Or straight into a speaker simulator or even Direct into my audio interface ?
Dont talk so much!, you kill your own product, rather love to hear it in action.
Sounds as bad as the Mesa bass demos. ughhh
Slapping – next video please.
I want power in my bass amp, not that choppy treble driven garbage
If 3 and X are in your name, you’re a joke
Would sound better with a proper bass player.
Oh… I wish he would slap in tune…
I own 2 Ashdown Amp heads. The dog's danglies
Well built reliability,,, bollox!, Ashdown has a bad reputation for failure and faults. Mine was sent back for repair and came back with more faults than it went with!! The reason gear is reviewed with "Slappers" is because every amp/cab/guitar sounds the same when slapped,,,,,,,,,,,Bullshit Baffles Brains.
Hi, I've bought a abm 500 evo II with 600W 4×10 cab. now I want to connect another 1×15 300W to my amp. but the 15"cab doesn't have a parallel output, and I have only 1 speakon out & 1 jack output from the amp. How can I connect the 2 cabs in parallel? greetz
but why sliders on some EQ and knobs on the others?
yeah..probably not the best demo, but the 500evo111 with 410h cab is just fantastic to play through..best I ve had to date.thanx
Good Gawd! Could you maybe have him actually play some bass "notes" for a couple of minutes? Instead of whatever it is that this guy is doing? You know, like the bassists that you mention that use the stuff?
Sheesh! That is one annoying clip.
Ashdown or Gallien-Krueger?
Here's some bass with some low end.
Jauqo III-X, Track 7, from Trioplicity
a bit of a useless representation to a lot of bassists if you only show the sound with slapping…
except a little tune in the end
In the very beginning I thought he was trying to play a funky Fresh Garbage by Spirit…but no.
great but expensive and guess macca got it for free
I really like Ashdown. I just wish players like this guy would turn down that treble. It's too much, sir.
Very good amp however built in china. I think sound demo would be rather better with state of the art Jazz Bass Fender or Music Man Stingray. The references.
Been gigging this exact rig for about 2 years now. Wouldn't use anything else. I love it. Even gigging pubs I have my output just over half way, so powerful!
the combo version with this head has 8 ohm so will have less watts than 575??
ive got the ashdown jj 500 brilliant but its connected to a warwick 400 8 ohm cab. i have to have the amp on full blast to play a small pub and the meter does not move do i need to use an ashdown cab?
Kinda sick of funk bass playing.
GARBAGE !
AMEN!
a gk 800rb still kills this
Amen
