From coping with the loss of bandmate Richey Edwards to writing the riffs, to the guitars and amps that were used and the sessions that defined the album, James explains in full depth how the band had to dig deep to create this masterpiece of 90s alternative rock, which wove into its fabric Richey Edwards’ lyrics but also created a newly dramatic, sweeping sound for the band in hits such as A Design For Life and Kevin Carter.
