Is it so hard to find an actual bassist to demo these? Just saying
The Ibanez looks really good!
I hate picks on a bass
How can you make a list of pro level basses and not have a warwick on it?
Shit
“the more panga, the better yer basses”..
????????
What is the matter with everyone thinking that a SG bass is the same as an EB3?
IT'S NOT!!
Ibanez actually sounded nice
Intermediate for me is like 500 range lol
Fender basses suck. I know the have dominated the bass guitar market for decades and decades. The tonal range is limited and much of the time the sound just sounds dead. It is like saying MacDonald’s is a great hamburger.
Road worn! Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I actually prefer the maple neck on the cheaper Ibanez basses. That bubinga is very porous and feels lousy.
Get an actual bass player to play
Used to own that mustang (and the flea jazz), didnt kept those, sticky nitro and really not that good anyway.
Owned a Gibs SG too, didnt kept that one also, nitro was good but the bass was not fun and I alwqys stressed about the headstock…
Owned also the Player and Am pro Jazzbass 5, the player is the one you want, when you play both, the feel and sound is about the same, the Am Pro is not worth the price bump.
I play Yamaha BB's now, they are great for the right price.
The Rickenbacker, I believe I've played before. They've got some oomph to them that I don't believe any other bass has. (Not even a Warwick) Definitely play a Rickenbacker if you get a chance. They're mint and more importantly, worth the £2,000+ investment. If not, may I suggest the new Antiquity RB1. It's a Rickenbacker style bass for an eighth of the cost.
SDGR from Ibanez bass
JACK BRUCE!!!!! GIBSON EB-3
Where the hell are the Music Man Stingrays????
IMHO, if you want the best bang for your buck, Ibanez is the way to go. I also have a Fender Vintera Jazz with Fender noiseless pickups and LOVE it.
I am surprised wit a Gibson LP junior. Great bass.
Great review once more. And once more someone at Mexi QC needs glasses.
