Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! I didn’t realize there were so many Dire Straits fans out there! My next reaction will be to "Tunnel of Love" from their 1985 Wembley performance. Please bear with me as there’s a lot of music I’d like to explore, and I want to make room for other performances as well. I know many of you would love for me to focus solely on Dire Straits, but I need to keep a balance. I truly appreciate your support and value every view and subscription!
This is how music works????
Hi, with all due respect, I had to laugh when you said Dire Straits are/were underrated, when in fact they were anything but.
This song gives me goosebumps all the time, ever since 1983
Mark's acoustic was a National style O resonator. His electric one in this is a Schecter. Thanks for your video.
je les ai vu en 84 à Paris, c'était exactement comme çà, je suis vieux maintenant et j' y repense souvent
Mark's guitar is something I instantly recognize. Never once have I mistaken him for anyone else or vice versa. It's unique to my ears, and always delightful to listen to. Add to that the storytelling and the musical construction and I guess you get another Dire Straits fan.

I call BS. reaction my A…e. If you have been playing guitar for 30 years, you know Mark Knopfler – don’t be ridiculous. What is next? You’ve never heard of the Beatles or The Rolling Stones? All these morons trying to cash in with these fake reaction videos are annoying.
It’s Hal Lindes on second guitar.
National Resonator guitar (chrome finish).
I've watched literally dozens of reviews of TR and you're the only one who's heard the gong. Twice! Well done for that.
Try Brothers in Arms next.
Got my first reaction to this record a couple of days after buying the album back in 84. I used to work away from home and didn't have a record player with me. Bought the album because of some other tune which would be more popular on the radio though, but personally, I learnt to appreciate every work of the band since. Long live all of them mfrs!????
If you are interested in watching more great live DS: "Private Investigations" (On the Night, 1993)
A banger!
Beautiful song, but not the same without Jack.
What rubbish, as a guitar teacher you have seen this before and definitely you would have heard the song, you are taking the mick
you've just watched a masterpiece mate.
Spot on there every point
Check out The Notting Hillbillies. After leaving DS he started this beautiful band
have a listen to Your own sweet way
A MUSICALIDADE DA MAIORIA DAS MÚSICAS DELE (s) ,É TÃO PURA ,QUE É MUITO FÁCIL VIR AS LÁGRIMAS E AS EMOÇÕES…MARAVILHOSÍSSIMO❤❤❤❤❤
The word you’re looking for is emotion.
Mark Knopfler is acknowledged by all to be one of the greats. I started listening to them with Sultans of Swing, some decades ago? His style of playing immediately recognizable and unique. He has never been underated.
First band I ever saw live, although not this concert.
Private Investigations is a must from the Alchemy Tour.
Yes t s hs rother n ths proformance!
Magical Mark Knopfler the musical genius and the extraordinarily talented Dire Straits=PERFECTION !!!
Nice, i will see more Mark solo things like Song for sony liston , postcards from paraquay, piper to the end etc
If you think my be interested please look into mark's inspiration for this song.Thankyou for your informed reaction.
The “Alchemy” concert was awesome, they were so good and perfect live. “Telegraph Road” was an absolute masterpiece, everyone did a perfect job. Especially Alan on piano and Terry on drums (for me the best they had), both out of this world. Mark with his beautiful voice and his own perfect guitar playing but also Hal on guitar and John on bass (always dancing). But Wembley was also top and “Tunnel of Love” for me the best version, the outro is awesome and will blow you away.
Only a few have reacted to Tunnel of Love. They definitely are missing out on a great song and fine musicians!
Dire Straits were all about Dynamics.
Hi there, I very much enjoyed your reaction to this. In your commentary you mentioned that Mark played with great touch and feel. On that note, I urge you to watch and react to this guitarist from Wales, Chris Buck, he displays an amazing amount of touch and feel in his solo during this song, "Dreams to Remember", by Buck & Evans. The title of the video is "possibly the most beautiful guitar solo i've ever heard". I assure you it is worth a few minutes of your time. I've just subbed hoping to see you react to it.
As a Brit, I am really annoyed that Mark Knopfler has not been knighted for his contribution to music and the charity work he's done. We have Sir Cliff Richard, Sir Paul MacCartney, Sir Ray Ray Davies, Sir Elton John, but no Sir Mark Knopfler. King Charles, please take note!
Great reaction check out Tunnel of Love – Wembley Arena 1985 16 mins of magic…..
A Masterpiece ???????? Perfect Band – From Brazil ????????
Quite extraordinary!
Arguably the best live performance ever based on the quality of the musicians. Someone said that it's not fair that Mark, Terry and Alan were in the same band, they are too good for that. And the others aren't bad either…
You really need to check out the whole Alchemy concert, it's widely recognised as being the best live performance of any band in the last 50 years, great reaction by the way, looking forward to more
