Check out all the things that makes this such a great guitar. At around 1700 bucks, I think this guitar is a great deal. Playability, build and tone are all top notch. Take a listen!

I own a Summit Convertible. Love it! They are increasingly difficult to find. I you find one, snap it up. Great demo.
The ONLY thing I could complain about with this guitar is in reference to the 3 position switch for each P Rail…they have P90, rail, & series, but leave off parallel, which is a much more usable combination in this case. Parallel is the 2 single coils side by side, where the serial or 'normal' humbucker sound is the least desirable of the 4 possibilities from this pickup, maybe due to the 2 sides of the HB being so mismatched. This would be an easy user or shop mod.
Wow!!

High quantity guitars and very good price. Godin has it figured out.
Got mine at sweetwater a month ago. They sold out fast. Had them Plek mine and add locking tuners. I've owned several Les Paul's but this is more versatile. Have a James Tyler S style nothing more needed. Both outstanding players and sound great.
Will you a chance to try summit sg?
Excellent review. Beautiful guitar. New subscriber.
Spanish Cedar – neither Spanish, nor cedar. It's Cedrela Odorata.
A really versatile guitar ????! And beautiful ❤️!
This model has recently been discontinued by Godin. It’s a shame… I just ordered one of the last ones in Canada and I can’t wait to receive it. I own three other Godin guitars and I just sold a Gibson Les Paul Standard to finance this one. I simply had enough of Gibson’s nitrocellulose finish… some think it’s better and I respect that. Personally, I came to realize that I was avoiding the Gibson because of its sticky finish…
Godin guitars may not hold their value like Gibson or Fender instruments, but I buy them to play them, not as an investment. On the other hand, since this particular model is now discontinued, it might become a collector’s item. Who knows… This Les Paul shape, beautiful finish and quality, and the versatility of the Seymour Duncan P Rails make it a very desirable instrument, as far as I'm concerned…
I own this guitar and I absolutely love the versatility and build quality. Cannot go wrong with this one. It is my go to…hands down!
Get a pre 08 crash Godin they made some really good stuff in the 90s and 2000s
Sweet !
i have a lefty Acousticaster built in 93. Love it – such a quality instrument
I don't like the volume and tone knobs..
Good review! I got one last year 🙂 superb quality (finish, performance, etc). The little areas where they did different vs lespaul could actually be improvements for lots of people. Not sure I would recommend for small hands however especially if you play with your thumb over top. The neck is medium u shape and comfortable but also slightly wider than lespaul (between lespaul and acoustic). Some people would probably like this or not notice! This guitar looks premium (in person), feels solid, and sounds great. It’s 2k cnd now I think. You can ask Godin for factory second and save 200$, and you will not be able to see the flaw !
Great review. I would have liked to hear some middle selector (combination) tones, as well. And frankly, I wouldn’t mind hearing your opinions on tones occasionally. I’ve used PRails in several guitars, and my only gripe is the humbucker is too dark for me. Did the revoicer mitigate that at all?
Your not going to find any sloppiness on a Godin.
Spanish cedar is actually a variety of mahogany they source it from South America.. It's called cedar because the natural oil has a cedar-like smell. In the past he wood was used to make cigar boxes, because the odor acts as a bug (mainly termites ) repellant.. That said I have a Summit and it's a really resonant wood and as you say quite light weight..
Excellent review! Good playing. I would've like to have heard them in combination. I own several Godin guitars and they have become my "go to" instruments over my Les Pauls, Teles and Strats. Premium quality and versatility at a fraction of the price! I am going to get one. Thanks. Subbed.
Nice video. Happy to see a good review of this guitar.
Thanks, that was a good one! Really a versatile guitar.
Bruh… I was waiting to hear all the spicy combinations of the middle position?
