My favorite Stingray player is Tim Commerford. (I’d say Justin Chancellor if he didn’t switch to a Wal)
Chic opening riff! Good Times to listen to.
I've owned my ibanez gsr200b since around 2017. I also gig with it too and its a fantastic bass. Mines in a brown colour. It sounds absolutely fantastic. Even through my 100 watt stagg bass amp which costed around £40 which is quite a bargain ????????
Didn't Andy Frazer of FREE play his nice loping style on an SG shorty???
Dude so tall basses look like guitars on him
18:10 New Born by Muse?
The Russell Brand of guitarists.
If you are after a cracking bass, that doesn't cost the Earth, then check out Retrovibe Basses. Designed and built by a bass player, who knows what it's all about. I can't recommend them highly enough. The guy has played with the likes of Blondie, among others, and the current player with Big Country is using one of his basses. We're talking under 500 UK sterling.
Andy fraiser from free played an eb 3
Looking for a cheap full scale bass that doesn't suck with a thinner neck profile. Any suggestions? It would help if you added some information about the neck profiles with each guitar
Cheap Bass? Was your first brand NEW car a Cadillac? No. We have to start somewhere and dream of having a Cadillac…
update ?
The SUB Ray is kinda okay – but i would go a bit further and go for an Squier Contemporary Active JB HH ????♂
Not sure of the Epiphone bass it comes across as quiet
What amp are you demoing thru?
Jim Lea of Slade was the biggest reason for me to get a SG-model bass(Epiphone EB-3)
who else thought he was playing another one bites the dust
i understand your not a bass player just a guitar player.. but maby if you use your fingers instead of a pick you'll play it like a bass instead of a guitar.. but for a guitar player you did good.. i dond know why but guitar players have a hard time playing bass for some reason.. have a bass player show you a walking bass riff.. looks like a fun job you got
How about a review of a ib basswood bass that's sold on ebay for less than 90 dollars
This video and the one preceding it are exactly what I needed. I've been thinking about getting a bass and learning to play for a while, and I had no idea where to start as far as buying a bass. This has a about all the information I want to start my search. The basic configurations and what they sound like, all in one place. You're the man.
Well done on showing the basses and not showing off your slapping nor twiddling about on the top strings. Keeping your slip of the tongue and other mistakes made it fun.
I like short scale basses because they make me feel like a normal person
I love that sg, but only after sanding that neck
