Walrus Audio Qi Etherealizer Tech Demo
Chavez Soliz, Jeremy Galindo (This Will Destroy You), and Alex Akins help us run through the controls and features of the Qi Etherealizer.

The Qi Etherealizer (pronounced “chee ethereal-izer”), a collaborative creation with Yvette Young, is a multi-effects pedal that combines Chorus, Delay, Granular effects, and, of course, Reverb, into a creative playground for atmospheric exploration. Mix and match the chorus, delay, and grain and run in series or parallel to create your own inspiring universe of possibility in a stereo field. With the ability to save presets and bypass the chorus, delay, and grain controls, you can quickly and instantly change settings by simultaneously pressing the Bypass and Freeze stomp switches. Go from a traditional chorus with a little bit of delay, or go all in and let the Qi take over with unexplainable washes of glitchy and lush ambiance. Whatever your style is, the Qi will give it a new life.
The Qi Etherealizer allows players to mix and match Chorus, Delay, and Granular effects, running them in either series or parallel configurations to create a vast universe of sonic possibilities. Whether you’re crafting a traditional chorus with a hint of delay or exploring glitchy, ethereal washes of sound, the Qi offers unparalleled flexibility and instant inspiration. The pedal features intuitive controls that let players save up to three onboard presets (127 via MIDI) plus a live mode.
Inside, the Qi includes the debut of Walrus Audio’s own proprietary digital processing platform, MDSP, setting a new standard in high-fidelity audio and innovative design. At its core is the powerful ARM-based Cortex M7 processor, enabling sophisticated algorithms in a compact, modular form that adapts to various pedal formats. With a superior audio codec and advanced processing capabilities, MDSP ensures unmatched performance, offering limitless creative possibilities for musicians and audio professionals. The introduction of MDSP reflects Walrus Audio’s commitment to providing creators with cutting-edge tools that inspire innovation and creativity.
Tracked with the ACS1 Amp + Cab Sim, some Voyager MKII overdrive, and the Qi Etherealizer.

Love the This Will Destroy You snippet in the parallel section. What a killer song.
Bleep blop
Compare to Matthew Technician?
Respectfully, the fact you’re not also demo’ing this with a synth is silly from a marketing perspective.

Hi Walrus, this sounds absolutely stunning and the parallel is a superb ideal.
Can you give us more info on that Strat with the gold foil, P90 and Lipstick, killer sounding thing. Thank you
Another useless breath box
It would be nice if you could find a guitar player that plays more than campfire chords
Question, how is this routed?
I just bought the Sloer… how does this compare to it ? Should I just sell it to someone else and get this new one instead ? …
Wow! This thing is so interesting! I’m getting one!
Sounds of Mewtwo rising from his tank ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Beautiful work crafting this! It's full of inspiration and ear candy! I just ordered another pedal with much similarities to this BUT I'm sure there's enough differences to have them both!
This will be my next purchase as soon as I pay off my BigSky MX.
Nice!
Welp, I'm sold
Submarine p/u, 6×6 matrix mixer, and the rest is a secret ????
If this pedal is nearing the price of the Meris Mercury X, well…
Were they going into an ampsim pedal / software or real amp? Sounds great
Good to see you've got the pron-stache fella back on the demo staff.
(I'll be buying this pedal)
I've never pre-ordered so fast in my life!!!! ❤
